Stab is a new skill, and is not directly supported in the client.

One suggestion I've gotten has been to make it work exactly like the Poisoned Dagger.

Feel free to post your thoughts about this.

as long as its temporary, sure

im sure stab would be easily implemented and changed in the near future

All workarounds are temporary obviously. But we are not in any position to demand anything from SkiJunkie since he's the person coding the client.

If a more accurate representation of a skill appears, we'll switch obviously.

It can happen till implemented.
(But I think SJ can implement this quite quickly, after the poisoned dagger already exists.)

For the time being, Poisoned Dagger is probably the best solution.. Shadowing is ok, but he's quite boring without the Stab Smile

Poisoned dagger is easy (without the poison), but what about the combo of stab and multiblock, can that work?

well, its multi'block, not multi-stab. IMO the armour values should get added together... imagine 2 orcs = 18 armour with a flimsy 2d dagger Smile

useless against even halflings

LRB 5 FAQ says you can replace one or both blocks with a stab.

Yes, you can stab 2 targets with multiblock and stab, that usually leaves your skilled stabber in 2 TZ though =/

I'd appreciate using poisoned dagger for the time being, just bought an assassin and it's a completely useless bugger without stab Wink. While the poison makes it a bit more powerful it also is a secret weapon and could get sent off.

i think hed be better with diving tackle instead of shadowing, but anyway... just get him dodge and use him for defence

But the question is not about shadowing it´s about stab and that should definately use Dagger as the stab-players are one of the big changes to a team and not just some new skill to be tested.
Testing a revamped team without use of one of the new positionals is quite pointless IMHO.

Any way to implement stab to be an automatic POW roll? That's pretty much what it is, without the knockdown.
