Hi fouling and dp's are a controversial subject. There are the supporters, the detractors and the fence sitters on the whole dp philosophy. This is an idea of mine that I think works rather well, of course feel free top comment.
First foul by a player he is a given a yellow card on a 3+ roll
second foul he is given a red card on a 2+ roll and is ejected from the game and recieves a mng
fouling gives cas spp
dp no longer allows you to recieve a bonus for the fouling armor or injury roll
instead dp's are sneakier and know how to get their fouls in unobserved
a dp receives a yellow card on a 5+ and recieves a red card on a 6+
also use the grudgmatch handicap in every game perhaps counter those po blokes
i think this balances well
your ideas etc. welcome

I guess the best question is why discuss it here? We won't make rules changes that are not officaly incorporated into the LRB, and the wider blood bowl commumity will not read this thread, and therefore it wouldn't have any chance of becoming considered for future review. A better place for the discusion *would* be talkbloodbowl. |

I like your idea regarding Dirty Players being sneakier rather than deadlier, but I think the yellow card system essentially just gives every team 11 free fouls with no chance of anyone getting sent off. Combined with SPPs for foulings, more players will be kicked to death than ever before...
Maybe just something that makes a dirty player less likely to be sent off... ignoring the IGMEOY 4+ roll or something?
I've always thought that Foulers should get SPPs. How else can you build up your world famous deathkicking Goblin foulmonger?  |

I dont think there is any problem with the current fouling rules. Only the interpretation of sportsmanship on when and where to foul. |
