Hey all!

No longer really a newby anymore, but GOD AM I TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Sad

My lifetime record on FUMBBL with all of my teams, including one retired team is 4/2/16. <25% winning average. Each team has won exactly one game and NO more.

But that's okay. I still have fun, and after each loss I crawl back to my lair to lick my wounds and plan another nefarious scheme. In my most recent game my 153 TR chaos sqaud was humbled by an Amazon team with 2-3 games under it's belt. (He made the challenge, not me...just to clarify)

Anybody else out there that's as losing a coach as myself? Let's join forces! I know there's bound to be some people out there who are almost as bad as myself. We can form a League of coaches, with a maximum rating and/or life time record to get in. The bottom of the barrel fighting it out to find out who's really the very lowest on the food chain.

Okay, I guess this is only half serious, but still is there anybody else out there with a slightly (or more than slightly) blemished record who's interested in a tourney or small league especially for us guys who have a tough time scraping together some victories?

That sounds fun, although the problem would be the winner of the tournament would have to be kicked out for being too good.

This sounds like a great idea!

How about only leave it open to coashes with a ranking of less then 150? We'll show those good coaches! Wink

DISCRIMINATION
we "good" coaches are being clearly discriminated against
i have a lowly rating of 173.02 and that means i cant play in your tourney
you will hear from my lawyer about this
*grin* jk
have fun guys
and i agree with monty about kicking out the winner

Total Record: 12 / 6 / 50 22% Win

I'd so rock at this thing...

Like... say...

4 points for a win
1 point for every TD allowed...

Would be fun, but I'd rather not see a scoring system that encourages letting your opponent score.

It seems to me there are two ways to go with this kind of thing...

Either a best of the worst, where you set some kind of limit, and we losing coaches fight it out like it was a normal tourney...well...minus the good coaching of course. Wink

Or, you go for worst of the worst. The losingist coach "wins" the tourney.

I would think that trying to win would be in the best spirit of the game. But there could be a mediocrity trophy given to whoever finishes in the dead center. Wink

Total Record: 12 / 11 / 40
Win Percentage: 28%
Average TDs scored per game: 0.9
Average TDs allowed per game: 2
Ranking: 135.12
That's me Embarassed

Well, I like the idea of a "Battle of the Worst" to see who is best among them and would certainly join in it.
Call it outcast league or something, to show that they are teams not allowed in other leagues (not truelly but in the loser spirit of this thread!)

Make it a normal tournament with games played to win, but the best three are not allowed to play in the next season.
