Gary Gygax passed away this morning. I don't care what fantasy game you play. Gary and his invention, AD&D, had an influence on it.

I wrote a blog, but then realized people may want to pay their respects (or disrepects) on Gary and his life. So here's a thread for that.

Just to eliminate any confusion, fumbbl's own Gary Gygax is probably alive and kicking.

I remember way back when I started playing in 1983. I was 10! Such a good time. His contribution to fantasy games is priceless.

Thanks Gary for all the great memories!

There's a reason my best known team are called the paladins.

Samne reason i cant face coaching undead often.

I had a secret shame as a child. A level 25 paladin.

Mr Gygax, i salute you.

I rolled up my first PC in 1980. Playing and DMing D&D taught me how to overcome my natural shyness when speaking to a group of strangers. Later in life I was an Army instructor and trainer who will retire with nearly 21 years of active duty & reserve service. This includes one combat tour overseas.

Thank You, Mr Gygax!
