Rest in Peace or Rollplay in another Sphere of Excistence, whatever the great Dungeon Master in the Sky has planned for you

Spot on...

"heh heh, oh man, Sphere of Annihilation in the statue's mouth. That never got old."

lmao! I'm glad the person that normal sits next to me isn't here right now.

My username 'Arktoris' goes back to 7th grade. "He" was originally an AD&D fighter/MU.

My older brother brought home the D&D books when I was 10. Been hooked on fantasy games ever since. I think he still has those original rulebooks. RIP Gary.

I still possess all the d&d manuals: basic, experienced, companion and master.
The immortality quests in the master one were particularly funny to read.

My current nick name is based off Slyric, MY first D&D character. A level 7 thief.

I have made a lot of friends thanks to his game. Also found warhammer and blood bowl thru those same friends!

Thank you soo much Gary!!!

My Thursday game will start with a moment of silence. Then killing, looting and repeating.

I started playing D&D back in 1982 (4th grade) (addicted from the start!). I still remember that magic missile I cast at the dragon that first game back then... I gave up being the cool kid (like I had a chance) to play D&D with my friends during those recess breaks, oh so long ago...

...and it led to other games, comic books, board games, video games (the ol' SSI Comodore 64 games), etc etc! I can't even begin to describe how large an impact, D&D made on my life. I am here, playing BB because of D&D.

D&D was my gateway drug, into the wonderful world of games.

RIP Gary.

Thanks for letting me join your adventure party!

Thanks for the best memories of time spent with friends out of all the crazy stuff we did; our sessions D&D and AD&D will always be my fondest memories of a youth spent under the motto: "If all else fails, my barbarian charges the biggest thing out there!" RIP Gary

My 19th level assasin salutes you... in the shadows of course.

RIP Mr. Gygax.
