Div-T means Tournament Division. Either a new tournament team, a transferred team or an existing one from a finished/stale tournament.

Cheers.

Hard to do with Div-T teams, but I did have a "fattening up" rule that can be brought in if people do want that option

Here is the fattening up rule that has been added.

If you want to splay some sparring matches in between games you may do so. However, your TR can not increase by more than 10 over your weight class limit prior to the start of that weeks scheduled game. In addition, If you do go over your weight class limit during this period, you must pare down your team back under the limit immediatly following your match or you will automatically be bumped to the higher class.

Cheers, 19 teams so far, need several more.

Tournament Is Full!

34 teams entered, 2 spots held (both Cusi & Caileanhawk owe me teams).

So by the end of today we will have 36 teams, which means 18 games per week, which gives you a whole lot of gambling options.

Cheers!

Invitations have been sent out for you to join your various weight classes.

If you did not receive an invite PM me or query me in chat.

If you do not respond to your invite by this Saturday (12:00am Fumbbl time) you will be booted from the tourny and another team will replace you. I've turned quite a few folks away, and I require active coaches!

Looks like kick-off will be this Sunday, November the 9th.

I will be adding some additional fun rules, during the tournament, as various denizens of Lost Vegas come to your teams with special offers.
These random events will be sent to you in PMs. These random events will start during the second week.

The Gambling Lines on the games will be posted either on the upcoming sunday or whenever everyone accepts their invites, whichever comes first. Remember, if you don't gamble in the first 2 weeks, I'll assume you aren't interested unless you tell me otherwise, and I'll take back yer 100,000 LV tokens.

Here are the betas for the random events that can hurt/help your team. Havn't determined the LV Token amounts yet. If you can think of any better events let me know!

1. It’s A Boy! – A player on your team gets a groupie pregnant! Paternity Suit!
2. Bribe the Judge – No matter how the game turns out, you will get 2 points. Costly though.
3. Nurgle’s Rot – A players indiscretions result in a case of Nurgles Rot… in a real sensitive area. Healer is gonna be expensive!
4. Member Protection – Buy your team a box of condoms. Avoids It’s A Boy and Nurgle’s Rot events.
5. Shaving the Odds – Get better odds on one game.
6. Jilted Husband – An angry husband tracks you down and demands satisfaction for your player’s infidelities. Since he looks mean you slip him some cash to make him go away.
7. Godfather – He’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse
8. Spill Parcells - Super Coach Spill Parcells offers to help you coach your team. His tough methods will really keep the team in line! For a hefty price. Prevents It’s A Boy!, Nurgle’s Rot, Jilted Husband, All night binge, Showgirl, and Angry Guards.
9. Title Fight! – Don King offers to book you against the champ. But it’ll cost you a King’s ransom
10. Double Down – Allowed to bet double the limit on one game the next week
11. All night binge – The team goes out on all night binge and charges everything to your account. The hotel manager is here to collect.
12. Angry Guards – Player had a crazy night on the town. Unfortunately half of Lost Vegas’s police squad was called in to deal with him. It’ll take a lot of donuts to make this go away!
13. Hire a Goon – Lost Vegas is a tough town. Protection is always nice. Prevents Godfather and Held for Ransom.
14. Bust! – Oh Oh! You rolled too many double ones at the craps table last night. The Casino Manager arrives to collect your tab.
15. The Lounge Diva – She may be a helluva dancer but she’s an expensive date! Hope it was worth it!
16. Held for Ransom – Shark, Joey Knuckles, and Sammy Two-Thumbs kidnap one of your players. You pay them and they give him back!
17. Showgirl – A player hires the most expensive showgirl in Vegas for a private show. He put it on your credit card! Yikes!
18. Jack Pot! – A night in the casino results in big winnings.
19. Shaving the Odds - Get better odds on one game.
20. Bribe the Commish! – You can pick any one in your class to play against next week. Anyone but the champ that is.

Obviously it will be a d20 roll. You have a 50% chance of a random event happening to your team every week.

Speaking of betting.

You can now down load your Betting Sheets from the tournament website
http://www.geocities.com/dgbunnypuncher

Its at the very top, right above the main tournament header graphic. You may need to click refresh to make it show up as yer browser may load the cached version already on your computer.

You will use this form every week to send me yer picks.

As well. I will be holding a gambling tutorial in the channel #LVDTOC on Sunday Nov 9th, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm EST. Where you can ask me how to fill out the forms, what the different betting options are etc. If you have gambled on American Football before, what I am doing will be quite familiar to you.

Cheers.

All teams have reported in except one (Copycat, but he's on daily so not concerned) so it looks like we'll have a full house.

However, I do need two volunteers, 1 from middleweight and one from lightweight.

Here's the deal, we only have five HW and an odd number of lightweights.

There fore I need one middleweight to volunteer to fight a heavyweight team
And 1 lightweight to volunteer to fight a middle weight team.

The volunteers get to pick their opponent in the higher division, and will be awarded 10,000 additional LVTs for their efforts! Their results will count as normal.

First coach in each division to PM me gets the prize! Just look at the main group page when deciding on an opponent.. cheers.

Kheldar1892 has volunteered to play his lightweight team against a middle weight.

He said in a press interview earlier this morning...

Quote:
My Famous Mercs TR100 Chaos Pact

would like to play against

Custard Pie Raiders 153 TR Halfling Wink

Pact vs pie eaters - who will emerge victorious? Will the power game of the pact prevail, or will the pint sized pugilists peeved about being considered the bums of the middleweight division eat some pact-pancakes for dinner on Sunday?

Still need a middlewight to throw down the gauntlet...

If I do not get a volunteer, one of the Heavyweight teams and one of the Lightweight teams will be idle in week 1. Or I need to find one new heavyweight team (light weights are easy to find) and expand the group to 38.

Cheers.

UPDATE:

We now have 38 teams, so all the divisions will start out with an equal number of teams.

Thanks Kheldar1982 for volunteering, but it will no longer be neccessary.

The following updates to the Tournament Website have been made:

Week 1 Schedule and Odds posted.

Grom's Weekly Picks Posted.

Barry's Game of the Week Posted.

http://www.geocities.com/dgbunnypuncher

Do not play games until 12:00am Sunday November 9th (fumbbl time)

You may begin betting immediatly (re download the Betting sheet or add another row for 19 games on your own).

MAX BET ON ANY ONE GAME IS 25,000 LVTs, MIN BET IS 1,000LVTs on any one bet.

Word of advice... dont bet all yer LVTs in one week!

Good Luck and have Fun!

Cheers.
