The tournament has now officially started and you may begin playing week 1 games.

Make one post for your team.
Include the score, and you must provide a link to the Match Report. Short write ups are always encouraged

Fumbled a ball with rr 1 step from the goal line in the first half. And couldn't break armour to save my life. And I think I did about 8 fouls that couldnt have hurt a kitten. |

Star Gaters
Well Week 1 has come and gone for the human Star Gaters.
It was a rough and tough match from the go as the humans tried to stand toe to toe with some very strong orcs. Those Str 4 guys are way tough.
After the orcs scored the humans had a touchback and gave the ball to their Ogre. The thinking was, heck he can't normally pickup the ball, so let the big guy have it and see if he can score. Well 2 turns of failed BH rolls will keep a big guy from going anywhere. Humans tried harder in the 2nd half to tie the game but an unfortunate bounce of the ball put it in the hands of an orc player who had not moved yet, on the orcs turn no less.
Humans did manage to blitz the ball away and were all set up with a player to run it in on the 8th turn, but failed to pick it up again. Guess Rain doesn't help.

Enjoyed it thoroughly, we each had a kill. Wish I'd gotten some skills though. 
Week 2:
The humans dug in for what was sure to be a bloody matchup against a Khemrian team.
The 1st half was scoreless, of course the rain didn't help matters.
The humans did manage to score in the 2nd half and keep the Khemrian team from scoring, thus winning 1-0.
There were some casualties, including one dead skeleton that shall never bother anyone again.

Not sure if any spreads were covered, but hey the underdog came thru with a win!

Roaming Rampaging Rapids Results
1. Roaming Rampaging Rapids 3 - Custard Pie Raiders 1
The Raiders went a full 16 rounds with the Rapids. With time winding down, the Rapids went for the knockout punch. The hobbits went down but time expired before the ref could count to 10. The Rapids won on a unanimous decision. Kudos to hoomin_erra for not throwing in the towel.
Hoomin_Erra's pregame comments: "Bunnypuncher is a sadistic bastard!"
Evo's postgame comments: "Couldn't agree more, Bunnypuncher is a sadistic bastard; unfortunately I think some of it rubbed off on me. You really should drop down to the lightweight division, I hope this match helps you qualify for it."
2. Roaming Rampaging Rapids 4 - Land Lubbers 1
The Land Lubbers were desperately seeking safer shores after the Rapids drowned them in a wild torrent of offense. |

Wow we sucked bad...first play of the game a blitz and bye bye goes Slotz n' Crapz Blitzer Godfather, only to join the undead for the rest of the match. That makes a Black Orc and a Blitzer lost in 2 games ouch. That hurts especially when you earn no money.
