Two Beginners questions?
For what is the Skill Roll? On what page in the living rulebook can I read?
Are the +ability anything special or are those normal in the skilling process? |

In its index, there is the list of skills. Look at Gaining Spp too. |

When a player gains a skill you roll 2 dice. Or the site does in FUMBBL.
If you get a double then the player can pick any skill (except mutations which only chaos and skaven get) or any trait in skills he normally has access to.
If you roll 10 then you can choose to take 1 extra movement or a skill (a 5+5 is a double too)
On an 11 you can choose to take 1 extra agility
On a 12 you can choose 1 extra Strength and it counts as a double too
This explains it in far better detail. |
