I realize I noticed this a bit belatedly but you could fake it on the assumption that you aren't using the icons.ini at the moment anyway.
1. Backup your icons.ini by renaming it to something like icons.ini.backup.
2. Make a new icons.ini with just a single entry:
| Code: | [OrcHeim Rugby Club]
Ruurk the Black Orc=BO-icon.gif |
3. Make BO-icon.gif by taking back.png and putting the letters on it in your choice of image editing applications. Save it in the icons directory.
{edit: 4. And don't forget to turn the icons option back on. }
This is all just assuming that you're not using the icons at all. It should mean that only the one player gets his custom icon and everyone else defaults to your settings in positions.ini... right? I haven't tried it so I'm not certain. Good luck. |

Cant you just turn the position letters into a picture file and then assign them as icons? |

Oh yeah. I was just building suspense for step 4.
4. Turn the "use Nick Kelsch's icons" option back on. You won't really be using his icons though, since you've got your hacked icons.ini plugged in.
And Silly, I did so once a long time ago for small field icons (which don't support the background position images or something. It was a long time ago and I forget the exact reason). It's very tedious work and very error-prone but entirely doable. |
