Quick poll to see what you think. Just toying with the concept.

I don't see why not. Stars are underused in the other divisions, except for Championships and Major Tournaments. I have enjoyed being able to use the Star Players and not have people duck out of matches because I have one my roster. Very Happy

And, I look forward to playing against some of them.

Don't really care... I'd survive without them. Most stars are quite lame anyway.

Oh and thanks Christer for the new (and fun) division Very Happy

I voted under the pretense of hiring starplayers before you get matched.

If this is about hiring stars after the match has been made, I vote NO NO NO!

i think so.

mostly cos i want to see what the deathroller can do.

teams are locked before the Black box calculation so the matchup should still be pretty equal even if one side has bought a load of stars.
shouldn't it?

As long as it is before being scheduled... yes. Star players are pretty cool and i think the TS formula accounts for them well.

Yep. TS works for them well.

But this does add another layer to the handicaps question. Loading up on the Count and getting a couple of 'caps against a starless team would make for a pretty yawny hour most probably....

Since the TS calculation are still broken for [B] i dont think stars should be allowed at all, when the ts matchups are better evened out, id gladly have them in there.

As much as the count has been making life hard for my ogres it wouldn't be bloodbowl without the stars. As long as they're hired before the match-up everything's good Smile

I don't hire stars very often, but I think they are a fun part of Blood Bowl and I don't really see why they shoulnd't be allowed in B. Blood Bowl won't ever be fair anyway.

People who abuse the system by starting team with stars will hopefully be punished by the community by being subjected to ridicule etc.

i think it should not be possible to change a roster after been scheduled, as it would destroy th [B] system. but besides that i vote for stars.

than again, i dont know wether they destroy the current formula or not.

i'd be more interested to see how many people have actually hired stars since the system went online(excluding ameranth...that tool)...

i have a feeling like hiring stars is a rare occurrence in the first place, except for maybe shorthanded teams....but who knows...

ps...oh, and completely agree with anyone saying stars are kosher before matchmaking, and they are taken into account for the matchmaking process....no hiring after
