<u><b>Week #1 – Results</b></u>

<u><b>Highlights</b></u>
5 out of the 6 games in the NA divisions went into OT.
The leagues leading SPP player is dead after week #1.
Sultans of Slice fined after brutal fouling display.
Halflings get cut in half after 1 game.

<u><b>NA East</b></u>
Chaaarge! (0-0) 3 vs 2 Malevolence (0-0) – The game of the week in the NA divisions. The dark elves of Malevolence looked like they had the upper hand most of the game till a desperation Norse TD in turn #16 forced OT. After kicking off to the Norse, the elves had some chances to pull the game out, but a couple of crucial “suck” rolls did them in.

12plus Angry Rats (0-0) 2 vs 1 IronForge (0-0) – IronForge dominated the 1st half, stealing the ball from the rats, knocking 3 players into the SI box and leading 1-0. Receiving to start the 2nd half, the Dwarves were stunned by a blitz that penetrated their backfield. One turn later the rats had tied the game at 1-1. Enraged Dwarven women and children stormed the field in outrage delaying the game 5 turns. Long enough to send the game into OT, where the rats received the KO and stole the game. Fans left screaming, the Dwarves were screwed, the game was FIXED !!!

Mal Havoc (0-0) 2 vs 1 Dodge This (0-0) – Unquestionably the ugliest game of the week. Missed blocks, missed pick ups, and missed GFIs were the theme to this one. Dave Dickinson (Havoc) had the hot hand with 4 completions and started the game winning drive in OT.

<u><b>NA West</b></u>
Judas Priestess (0-0) 3 vs 2 Dinotopia (0-0) – The skinks ruled for the 1st 6 turns of the game and led 2-0 until Judas Priestess came on strong in the 2nd half and forced OT. With only 5 players on the pitch for OT, Dinotopia made a skinky dash for the TD. The Zons made a game saving tackle and barely made it into their endzone on the last turn of OT. Condolences to Pterospondylus, who scored twice, jumped into the crowd to celebrate, was killed during said celebration, and then was voted MVP for his antics. (11 SPPs shot to hell)

Deadlines! (0-0) 2 vs 1 Sultans of Slice (0-0) – Deadlines! got the early luck and cruised to a 2-0 lead. Apparently feeling dejected, the Sultans decided to turn the remainder of the game into a foulfest, resulting in a SI and a RIP. Team owner Bunnypuncher was seen in the commissioner’s office later that week.

Grugni’s Grudgebearers (0-0) 2 vs 1 Black Crag Blood Sox (0-0) – Another OT victory in a hard fought match. The Orcs, even with the help of the fans (1 well thrown rock, a crowd push, and a riot) could not take down the Dwarves. Eventually the furry warriors wore the Orcs down and dashed (lol) into the endzone for a 2-1 win.

<u><b>European</b></u>
Warpstone Plagues (0-0) 3 vs 2 Steel Dogs (0-0) - Apparently the first game NOT to go into overtime. the Plagues owned the first half - hitting harder, handling the ball better and running faster down the field than the Dogs. That the chaos warrior Ortega killed himself at the start of turn 2 of course helped as the chaos had a lousy first half. The second half became a bloody affair that both teams suffered from, but if the teams deal out injuries like this for the rest of the season - look out!

Silver Pegasus (0-0) 3 vs Elfheim Gold Rush (0-0) 1 – The silk gloves certainly came off in this “match of the snobs”, many an elf spent most of the match in the dugout. Valen-Swift had a hard time with the dice and Neverdodge took advantage of that fact to the fullest. To top it all, Elfheim Gold Rush’s thrower Valen Swift (obviously named in honour of the coach) managed to kill himself after trying to dodge and many of the
fans got so disappointed they demanded their money back. Only 40k gold in its
treasury, EGR will surely have a difficult second match.

Snake Eyes (0-0) 1 vs 1 Return of the Ancients (0-0) - The first game in EU division to be played and the first WWB game to end in a tie. With a riot as the first event in the game there was barely time for the teams to score once each. The half ended 1-1 and that would also be the end result. The second half was dedicated to the bashier gods of blood bowl as the ball handling was very bad. The overtime was spent chasing the ball around on the Snake Eyes half to the field, a task made difficult by the spectators throwing away the ball every chance they got.

<u><b>Aussie</b></u>
Gortag Warskulls (0-0) 2 vs 1 Knights of Khorne (0-0) – The 2 Orcs outdueled Chaos in this hard hitting match as both teams were successful in their blocking.

World of Sport Legends (0-0) 5 vs 0 Old Country Hooligans (0-0) – If ever there was a rape in a bloodbowl game I think this would be it. After 5 TDs and 10 Cas the halfings were sent home wondering what could have been. Extra hospital beds were needed as well as O negative pint sized blood.

Shining Force (0-0) 2 vs 1 Tvarnholm Bearskins (0-0) – After an even 1st half several Norse acted a bit girly and retreated to the injury box for the remainder of the game. The elves took advantage and easliy won over the few outnumbered Norse who remained on the pitch.

<u><b>Week #2 – Results</b></u>

<u><b>Highlights</b></u>
No OT games in Week #2 as many teams struggle to field 11 player squads
Grugni's Grudgebearers and Deadlines from the NA East will meet in Week #3 to see who can go 3-0
World of Sport Legends and Shining Force from the Aussie Div will meet in Week #3 to see who can go 3-0
World of Sport Legends' star Hobgoblin Sam Newman leads the league with 5 TDs and 21 SPPs

<u><b>NA East</b></u>
Malevolence (0-0-1) 1 vs 0 Dodge This (0-0-1) – Despite some risky plays, the dark elves managed to get the ball upfield and score late in the half for a 1-0 lead. They also managed to outhit the Orcs in the process. After the Orcs lost their 3rd player to a casualty on the kick off, they left the field in shame ... embarrassed to be bashed by pansy elves. The 1st concede of the league will not sit well with other Orc war tribes.

Chaaarge! (1-0-0) 2 vs 1 12plus Angry Rats (1-0-0) – Too bad the skaven were at such a numbers disadvantage, ’cause even up, their hot dice rolling would have crushed their opponent. The Norse, already up 1-0 had the ball and seemed in control for a 2-0 lead. Next thing they knew, the rats had stolen the ball and streaked all the way across the field for the equalizer. (Currently the play of the year so far). With only 5 rats left on the pitch the Norse struggled to cross the goal line in turn 7 for the game winner (how embarrassing).

IronForge (0-0-1) 1 vs 0 Mal Havoc (1-0-0) - The 1st 4 turns were a comedy of errors with dwarves and humans flailing on the ground. The dwarves nailed an unprotected catcher and stole the ball for a 1-0 halftime lead. Mal Havoc kicked off to start the 2nd half with only 9 players. Down to 5 players, the humans made 1 final dash for the ball and stole it away. With 1 turn to go the ball lay alone in the dwarf endoze but no human could get to it for the TD.

<u><b>NA West</b></u>
Grugni’s Grudgebearers (1-0-0) 2 vs 0 Judas Priestess (1-0-0) - The Zons looked in good shape till a 1st half T8 TD catch by a longbeard (yes longbeard) broke their spirit. Two consecutive “blitzes” later the girls were left broken and sobbing on the pitch. The final dwarf TD was merely a formality.

Deadlines! (1-0-0) 4 vs 2 Dinotopia (0-0-1) – Oh the Nuffle Gods are a fickle lot. Everything was going Dinotopia’s way after a TD and a blitz gave them a 2-0 1st half lead. Then Nuffle switched allegiance. After a couple of lucky bounces, a blitz, and some lucky blocks the lizards found themselves on the short end of a 4-2 shellacking. To add insult to injury, the only player to die in the game was once again awarded the MVP. Yes, Nuffle is a cruel jokester.

Black Crag Blood Sox (0-0-1) 2 vs 1 Sultans of Slice (0-0-1) – The Dark Elves came out hitting fast and hard and jumped on top of the Orcs 1-0. However, their persistent fouling techniques cost them as they quickly lost their advantage as multiple players were thrown out of the match. Armed with a numbers advantage, the Orcs were able to score the equalizer and eventual game winner. When asked about his team's 0-2 start coach Bunnypuncher said "who cares about records, this is the WAARGH Challenge where the last team standing wins!!". Uhh Bunny .... this is the WWB League, the WAARRGH was for Orcs.

<u><b>European</b></u>
Return of the Ancients (0-1-0) 2 vs 1 Warpstone Plagues (1-0-0) - There is very little to say about this match. The rats had a hopeless game and never had a chance of making it interesting. On a funny side note, the Plagues caused the only lasting injury though, although I guess the poor zombie (Weserkaf) probably won’t agree. The rats will be playing with less than a full team the next game as well, due to bad income.

Snake Eyes (0-1-0) 3 vs 2 Silver Pegasus (1-0-0) - The first half of this game was a close affair with quick TD’s, one offensive and one defensive for each team. Both teams utilized their speed to the fullest. The second half the Snake-Eyes took initiative due to a player advantage. Finally, when only 4 of the HE’s were left on field against 8 lizardmen, Snake-Eyes could score the winning TD.

Steel Dogs (0-0-1) 3 vs 1 Elfheim Gold Rush (0-0-1) - Two decimated teams took the pitch to battle it out – chaos versus high elf. The HE started with the ball, but had no luck at all and was soon down 0-1. They tried again, but a failed dodge by the thrower Soaren Hightower gave the chaos the opportunity to score a second defensive TD – although the beastman Rodriguez managed to stumble and badly hurt himself in the process. In the second half the HE bad luck continued and the chaos could easily score a third TD. The HE managed to get a consolation goal before the end but are surely not happy with the result of the game.

<u><b>Aussie</b></u>
World of Sport Legends (1-0-0) 2 vs 0 Gortag Warskulls (1-0-0) – The Warskulls shocked the Legends in the opening of this game with a blitz, but was unable to reach the ball. The first half was then a wild chase for possession in which the Legends came out winners, scoring in turn 8. The Warskulls were one player down at the start of second half, a fact that the Legends took advantage of. With hobgoblin Sam Newman doing the legwork, a second TD for the Legends was scored in turn 4, and they never let the ball leave the Warskulls half for the rest of the match. Sam Newman will be undisputed leader of the experience chart after 12 SPPs this match.

Shining Force (1-0-0) 2 vs 0 Knights of Khorne (0-0-1) - An interesting, yet quite uneventful first half was ended by Shining Force Lineelf Kiwi picking up the ball in a TZ and dodging over the TD line. The second half was Shining Force’s all the way. The HE hit harder, ran faster and handled the ball better then the chaos and thus ended up winning the match with a comfortable 2-0 result. With more TD’s and more cas the fans showered the HE’s with money while virtually ignoring the chaos. This was the HE’s match alright!

Tvarnholm Bearskins (0-0-1) 3 vs 0 Tepoc’s Chosen (0-0-1) – The Bearskins ruled this match from turn 1. The Chosen didn’t have much to say and as the turns went by, the Chosen’s dugout was filling up. The Bearskins had no problem waltzing over the poor Chosen.

<b><u>Week #3 – Results</b></u> (preliminary)

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
Sam Newman (World of Sports Legends) is the undisputed SPP leader averaging an incredible 2 TDs and 9 SPPs per game.
Outmanned Dinotopia managed their 1st win of the year over the Sultans of Foul 3-2. The Sultans did score a season high 2 TDs though.
Chaaarge!, Grugni's Grudgebearers, and World of Sport Legends are all 3-0. (must be all those block skills)

<b><u>NA East</b></u>
12plus Angry Rats (1-0-1) 2 vs 0 Dodge This (0-0-2) – Well these orcs need some better armor because they have been getting green puss beat out of them by both elves and now rats. The angry rats were all over the orcs in the 1st half as they lead 2-0 and sent a Black Orc to the BH box. But rather than conceding, the Orcs fought back, SI'd the rat ogre, and managed a tough 0-0 draw in the 2nd half. Coach Styx, "this team played like pussies for 2 straight halves but I think they're finally ready to rumble next game."

Chaaarge! (2-0-0) 3 vs 0 IronForge (1-0-1) – Well, they couldn't run without tripping, they couldn’t block without skulling, and they couldn’t break armor. Other than that, IronForge played a perfect game. The Norse romped 3-0 failing 1 roll the entire game. Unfortunately it was an apoth roll on a dead blitzer.

Mal Havoc (1-0-1) 2 vs 0 Malevolence (1-0-1) – The elves received 1st but left their witch elf exposed with the ball. After 1 unsuccessful attempt at dislodging the ball, Mal Havoc got a 2nd chance when Malevolence double skulled on a block behind the lines. This time the humans succeeded and after a scrum on the sidelines Mal Havoc emerged with a 1-0 halftime lead. Malevolence got to blitz on the kickoff but could never put a full turn together without rolling a 1. Mal Havoc eventually broke free with the ball and a 2-0 win.

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
Grugni’s Grudgebearers (2-0-0) 3 vs 2 Deadlines! (2-0-0) - A great match between the NA East Div leaders. This back and forth affair saw the rats constantly attacking the back of the dwarven cage. Tied at 2-2 late in the 2nd half, Deadlines! had 2 chances for the win but failed 3+ dodges both times. Grugni received in OT but still needed a dropped ball by a gutter runner (4+) to avoid defeat. After 8 turns of OT, the rats had little left and the dwarves crossed the goal line as time expired.

Dinotopia (0-0-2) 3 vs 2 Sultans of Slice (0-0-2) – A tough struggle between the fouling elves and the out-manned lizards. The lizards managed to hold their own and even lead late in the game before an end-to-end TD tied the game for Slice. The Sultans received the OT kick off but misfired on a block vs a Saurus. The Skinks rushed in, stole the ball, and dodged their way into the endzone for their 1st win of the year.

Judas Priestess (1-0-1) 3 vs 0 Black Crag Blood Sox (1-0-1) – As big and ugly as these orcs are, they still couldn’t knock the zons down. The orcs couldn’t hold the ball on their 1st possession and ended the half down 1-0. Judas Priestess knocked a few more orcs into the injury box and, with the numbers advantage, dodged their way for a 2-0 lead. In true sadistic fashion, the amazon fans once again voted a dead opponent the MVP.

<b><u>European</b></u>
Return of the Ancients (1-1-0) 2 vs 1 Elfheim Gold Rush (0-0-2) - This was definitely the Ancients’ game. Combining a funeral march (a mummy carrying the ball across the field) with a wight pass play the game seemed to be an easy victory. In spite of this the undead couldn’t score the deciding goal before the whistle blew for second half, but fortunately for them, they had the OT as well. The Elfheim players probably aren’t too unhappy with the outcome though, since there were no permanent injuries.

Warpstone Plagues (1-0-1) 4 vs 3 Snake Eyes (1-1-0) - This was an intense and close game, ending with a victory in OT for the Plagues. With the bloodshed kept to a minimum, thanks to a couple of skilled apothecaries, it was a well played match liked by coaches and fans alike. The sauri that badly hurt himself on a three die block in OT was probably only appreciated by the Plagues’ fans however.

Silver Pegasus (1-0-1) 3 vs 0 Steel Dogs (1-0-1) – Due to more agile players, and more important simply more players, the Pegasus managed to get a comfortable victory against the Dogs. The Dogs seemed to fail exactly those rolls that they couldn’t afford to fail and combined with the HE’s hitting power (!) this proved way too much for the chaos team. At least the chaos fans liked the game, giving the team room for improvement in the next game.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
World of Sport Legends (2-0-0) 1 vs 0 Shining Force (2-0-0) – This was a very close game, at least in the first half. The ball changed hands many times but stayed in the mid field for the entire half. The Force was pretty close to scoring in the beginning of the second half, but other than that the half belonged to the Legends who managed to score the winning TD in turn 8.

Tvarnholm Bearskins (1-0-1) ? vs ? Knights of Khorne (0-0-2) –

Gortag Warskulls (1-0-1) 2 vs 0 Tepoc’s Chosen (0-0-2) – The Chosen continues its negative trend with another loss, now against the Warskulls. The Chosen has yet to field a player better than an ordinary lizardman, a fact the Warskulls delighted in. In the end the Chosen had exactly the amount left on field as the amount of TD’s scored in the match – 2.

<b><u>Week #4 – Results</b></u> FINAL

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
It took 4 weeks before our 1st league interception. Elf? Skaven? Ghoul? Nope - Black Orc "Crush" from Dodge This managed the 1st pick of the year.
After 2 major upsets, Grugni's Grudgebearers are the only remaining undefeated team in the league.
Leading SPP whore Sam Newman is SIed but not permanently damaged.
The European and Aussie Divisions have 6 teams with 15 points - very tight.
Tepoc's Chosen is up to 11 players (yeah!!)

<b><u>NA East</b></u>
Malevolence (1-0-2) 4 vs 1 12plus Angry Rats (2-0-1) – Not much of a game actually. The rats hung tough down 2-1 at half, but a missed niggler and BH player left them with less than 11 players to start the 2nd half. The elves didn’t miss many rolls and were all over the rats for the 4-1 win.

IronForge (1-0-2) 2 vs 1 Dodge This (0-0-3) - Dwarves received and the orcs quickly dislodged the ball but blew multiple attempts at picking it up, capped off by a double 1 on a pass attempt when they finally DID pick it up. A hard fought half ended in a 0-0 tie. Orcs received to start the 2nd half and a pitch invasion niggled a BO, BH a blitzer, and stunned 3 others (this team is cursed). The dwarves quickly stole and scored for a 1-0 lead. Outnumbered 11-7, the orcs made a great pass, catch, dodge combo to tie the game at 1 after 6 turns. But the dwarves made a nice T8 sprint into the endzone for the 2-1 win.

Mal Havoc (2-0-1) 3 vs 2 Chaaarge! (3-0-0) – Mal havoc received 1st and scored easily while knocking 4 players into the KO/BH box. Turn 7 1st half , coach Ug (Chaaarge!) makes a tactical mistake and doesn’t move anyone within scoring distance with the ball loose on the ground. Consequently , the half ends 1-0 Havoc. 2nd half, Norse receive with only 10 men and, with elf like agility, score in 2 turns to make it 1-1. Turn 4 2nd half Mal Havoc responds with another easy score and knocks 7 players into the KO/BH box. Chaaarge! receives in turn 5 down 2-1 with only 6 players. However, after a failed GFI and double skull on 2 consecutive turns by Havoc, the Norse were able to score the equalizer in turn 7. Havoc received in OT and after some stressful moments after another double skull were able to score the game winner in turn 6.

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
Grugni’s Grudgebearers (3-0-0) 4 vs 0 Sultans of Slice (0-0-3) – This was a mismatch of dwarven proportions. The Sultans’ fouling tactics were largely ineffective against the high dwarf AV. Meanwhile, the dwarves played with little conscience as they systematically removed the elves from the field with both clean and dirty hits. At 0-4 and having been beaten at their own game the Sultans must start to re-evaluate their pre-game strategies.

Black Crag Blood Sox (1-0-2) 2 vs 1 Dinotopia (1-0-2) – GAME OF THE WEEK !!
Due to some rough games, both teams started this game with only 10 able bodies. The orcs received and Dinotopia was able to hold them off in the 1st half for a 0-0 tie despite having 5 players sent to the KO box. 2nd half kick off and Dinotopia only gets 2 KO players back so it's 7 vs 10. Perfect defense roll for the orcs, a turnover on the sidelines and a couple of failed dodges led to a 1-0 orc lead in T4. With only 7 players back, the lizards tied the game with a 2 turn TD. An ensuing blitz gave them a shot to win in T7 but a hideously dumb play in T7 (2 die block against when a 4+ pick up wins the game) cost them a turnover. Even so, in turn 8 a skink broke free, snatched the ball, and would have won the game but he tripped over the goal line to force OT. Orcs received in OT, lizards got all 10 players back. Orcs had a chance to win in T6 but tripped over the goal line as well. With time running out, the play of the game and winning TD was a 2 die block against (knockdown), 2 GFIs, and a pick up in the end zone by a gimpy skilless orc lineman. All without rerolls. WHAT A GAME!!

Judas Priestess (2-0-1) 2 vs 0 Thunderous Flatulence (2-0-1) – In a battle for 2nd place, Judas Priestess came out fouling and, with an intimidated ref, recorded the 1st kill of the game. The site of a fallen teammate scared the skaven as they were unable to dodge or pass the rest of the half. After a steal and some BHs the Zons were up 1-0 at half. The skaven chose to save their stregnth to start the 2nd half and JP went up 2-0 and held that lead for the win.

<b><u>European</b></u>
Silver Pegasus (2-0-1) 2 vs 0 Return of the Ancients (2-1-0) - The Undead went about this game as Undead usually do - fists first and slowly advancing the ball - or that was the plan anyway. While falling like, well Elves, the Silver Pegasus players did manage to not only hinder, but completely stop the Ancients advance, scoring a defensive TD in the dying seconds of first half. After a quick second TD in the second half, the Pegasi then kept the Ancients from getting far past the middle line. Somewhat of a pyrrhus victory for the Pegasi with three players injured and missing the next game, but no permanent negative effects. A Pegasi game!

Warpstone Plagues (2-0-1) 3 vs 2 Elfheim Gold Rush (0-0-3) - The epitome of a close game that could have (should have?) ended the other way around. The first half was dedicated to ball play, and more specifically passing the ball. After the 1st half the score was 2 against 1 in favour of the rats, but the elves quickly tied the score in the beginning of 2nd (this inspite of the Plagues blitzing). After a failed breakthrough by the Plagues it looked like the Plagues would loose the lead with only 3 turns left of the game. High Elf Lineman Kaprica Rootstem obviously had other plans as he fell over the TD-line dropping the ball. After some crazy passes and much ball bouncing the ball was brought over the opposing TD-line by Linerat Kakkatz. Final result 2-3 and lots of money to the rats.

Snake Eyes (1-1-1) 2 vs 1 Steel Dogs (1-0-2) – Starting with only 10 players Steel Dogs couldn’t hold back the Saurus and trailed 1-0 at halftime despite bashing by the troll Gonzalez. Second half was a bashfest and by the 6th turn there were only 12 players left on the field. Twice the Steel Dogs managed to catch the loose ball after it had scattered on a knockdown and in turn 7 the Steel Dogs tied it at 1-1 forcing OT. It was 7 vs 8 as players were too scared to come out of the KO box. Steel Dogs received but a blitz by the lizards gave them the game in 2 turns. Unfortunately Snake-Eyes did not hear the Commissioner’s warning about clearing the field after a win and a pitch invasion killed 2 skinks as they celebrated at mid-field. OUCH!

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
Knights of Khorne (0-0-3) 2 vs 1 World of Sport Legends (3-0-0) – WOSL received the opening kick off but fumbled the ball 3 straight turns. Khorne was able to take advantage and run off with a 1-0 lead and take out 2 players in the process. WOSL responded nicely with a T8 TD by their bull centaur and we were tied 1-1 at half. In the 2nd half the Chaos were able to use their STR 4 warriors and superior sideline play to control the pitch and pull off the huge 2-1 upset.

Tvarnholm Bearskins (2-0-1) 3 vs 0 Gortag Warskulls (2-0-1) - This was no contest. The Bearskins took advantage of every Warskull folly in the 1st half for a 2-0 lead. Add to that nice injury rolls and the orcs never had a chance to get back into this one. Second half the Orcs played tough and held the Norse scoreless till the 6th turn. Enough for a moral victory.

Shining Force (2-0-1) 3 vs 0 Tepoc’s Chosen (0-0-3) – Despite a sloppy half, Shining Force was able to steal the ball and take a 1-0 lead. The 2nd half was all elves as the injuries mounted for the skinks and they were quickly outnumbered. Apparently coach BunnyPuncher made a trip down under and had given the skinks a pep talk as they attempted to foul their way back into the game in the 2nd half.

<b><u>Week #5 – Results</b></u> FINAL

<b><u>Highlights </b></u>
Grugni's Grudgebearers remain undefeated.
Despite missing a game, WOSL Hobgob Sam Newman is still the league's top player.
Tepoc's Chosen almost tied their 1st game.
Winless teams are primed to go head to head in cross over matches.

<b><u>NA East</b></u>
Mal Havoc (3-0-1) 1 vs 0 Snake Eyes (2-1-1) – Snake Eyes started with a huge disadvantage and could only set up 8 players to start. But a brilliant defense led by a daredevil side-stepper enabled the lizards to end the half 0-0. The 2nd half was back and forth with a skink trying to make a mad dash to the end zone. But a blitzer tracked him down like old news and the humies were able to use their numbers to score a turn 6 TD.

Chaaarge! (3-0-1) 2 vs 1 Dodge This (0-0-4) - The heavy underdog orcs were able to overcome a skulling troll and dodge their way to a 1-0 lead in turn 4. The orcs even stole the ball away in turn 6 and went into the half up 1-0 (a new experience for them). Chaaarge! quickly scored in the 2nd half to knot it a 1-1. The norse were then able to take advantage of poor blocking and work the ball free in turn 6. Another wonderful block by the troll in turn 7 by the orcs (more skulls) enabled the norse to race into the endzone for a turn 8 victory. A much tougher game than they expected.

IronForge (2-0-2) 1 vs 0 Malevolence (2-0-2) – A sloppy 1st half saw the elves lose the ball and 2 players to the SI box. Score was 1-0 IronForge at halftime and the elves had 9 players to start the 2nd half. After some dwarven double skulls, the elves broke free and knocked the ball lose but couldn’t pick it up on a 2+ roll. After another steal they had a chance for the tying score but couldn’t roll a 2+ catch. After a 3rd steal (yes 3rd) they finally completed a pass but couldn’t avoid a dwarven blitz and the dwarves held on for the 1-0 win. All in all a very poor rolled game by both teams. Extra practice sessions are in store for everyone.

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
Grugni’s Grudgebearers (4-0-0) 3 vs 2 Dinotopia (1-0-3) – Although this game had blowout written all over it (the dwarfs had the lizards by 17 TR points), Dinotopia managed a 1-1 halftime tie in blizzard conditions. The hangover from the BunnyPuncher game lingered for Grugni as they fouled in turn 8 with only 7 lizards on the pitch. Second half started with Dinotopia down to 8 players. Lizards scored a quick 2 turn TD for a 2-1 lead but could only field 8 for the next kick off. The dwarves tied in turn 5 and a trip on a Saurus GFI cost the lizards the upset in turn 7. Dinotiopia could only field 6 players for OT and the Grudgebearers won it easily in turn 4.

Black Crag Blood Sox (2-0-2) 2 vs 1 Thunderous Flatulence (2-0-2) – A blitz on the opening kick off for the Orcs set them up as the skaven lost 3 players before they could even pick up the ball. In turn 4, a nice blitz, KO into the endzone, then follow up pick up, led to an early 1-0 lead for the Orcs. Next kick off the skaven were down to 7 players but Flatulence responded with a nice half court TD pass and a 1-1 halftime tie. 2nd half the skaven took the cowardly way out and set up 3 players on defence. The orcs played with the ball a bit and scored for the win.

Judas Priestess (3-0-1) 3 vs 1 Sultans of Slice (0-0-4) - An opening pitch invasion and an SI on a turn 1 foul set the tone for what was thought to be a brutal game. But a combination of pansy Zon fouling and the refs throwing elves out of the game made this a cordial affair. A good half ended 1-1 when the Zons used their superior strength (heh) to injure enough elves for a 2-1 lead. Without adequate numbers, the elves quickly lost the ball and gave up a 3rd TD in turn 8.

<b><u>European</b></u>
Warpstone Plagues (3-0-1) 5 vs 2 Silver Pegasus (3-0-1) - Silver Pegasus arrived to the game with a decimated team. The 10 players would prove to be too few for the horde, well 13, rats who were the opponents. After the Pegasi got very close to a TD, the Plagues took over the half and went to the 2nd half with a 3-1 lead and a three rat player advantage. Even though one of the elves recovered after his stay in the KO both, the rats still had much of the initiative. The game ended 5-2 for the Plagues. On a side note several hundred of the Plagues fans left the team’s fan club. This was due to the fact that even though the ref was given an “attitude adjustment" in BOTH halves, the Plagues players refused to kick on fallen elves more than once or twice in the entire game.

Return of the Ancients (2-1-1) 2 vs 1 Steel Dogs (1-0-3) – waiting for report

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
Tvarnholm Bearskins (3-0-1) 2 vs 1 World of Sport Legends (3-0-1) - waiting for report

Knights of Khorne (1-0-3) 2 vs 1 Tepoc’s Chosen (0-0-4) - The winless skinks shocked Khorne (and the world) as they scored their 1st TD of the year 4 turns into the 1st half thanks to a 5+ pick up and dodge. The Chaos calmly walked in a tying TD in turn 8. Fearing total humiliation, Khorne chose to stall the last 4 turns of the game rather than risk overtime. That in itself is a bit humiliating.

Shining Force (3-0-1) 2 vs 1 Gortag Warskulls (2-0-2) – waiting for report

<b><u>Week #6 – Results</b></u> FINAL

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
Newcomer Rhodes (Identity) and Throkk ze Thrower (Warpstone Plagues) have taken over the top 2 SPP spots with 43 and 37 SPPs respectively.

Two dwarves from Grugni's Grudgebearers still share the lead in TDs (how embarrassing)
The one mummy wrecking crew Tepemkau (Return of the Ancients) leads the league with 6 Cas.
The 1st round of cross over games have tightened up the divisions. The last 5 weeks of divisional play will be a wild scramble for the playoffs.

<b><u>NA West </b></u>
A loss by Chaaarge! and a forfeit by Darkwolf has tightened up the division. Only 7 points separates 1st from 5th place with some tough interdiv matchups for the leaders.

<b><u>NA East </b></u>
Grugni's Grudgebearers tasted defeat for the 1st time this year. The Sultans of Slice drank from the victory jug for the 1st time as well.

<b><u>European</b></u>
The Warpstone Pagues finally got some breathing room with their 3-2 win. Only 9 points separate 2nd from 5th place.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
The Tvarnholm Bearskins also got some much needed breathing room. This division is shaping up as a 3 team race unless the Warskulls and Khorne can pull off a late season rally.

<b><u>Week #7 Results</b></u>

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
The Euro coaches earn a round of trash talking as they went 4-2 this week. The NA coaches finished 6-6 and the self-proclaimed geniouses from down under finished 2-4.

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
Chaaarge! pulled into 1st place with a well earned 2-1 victory over the Warpstone Plagues. IronForge moved into 2nd place and was the only other team to win in the division this week.

<b><u>NA East</b></u>
The 2 top teams fell to the Aussie leaders. However, Judas Priestess managed to get to OT before falling and thus moved into 1st place by 2 points. The rest of the division swept their cross over games. This has brought 5 teams within 6 points of 1st place.

<b><u>European</b></u>
The upset loss by Warpstone Plagues (and an upset coach) creates a 3 way tie for 1st place. The Plagues and Shining Force meet this week to decide 1st place. ROTA tries to end Steel Dogs playoff hopes in a battle of 3rd vs 4th.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
The Bearskins and WOSL face off for the last time to determine 1st place. A sweep by the Norse could wrap up the division. Shining Force and the Gortag Warskulls play an elimination match. A loss by Gortag will severely hurt their playoff chances.

<b><u>Week #8 Results</b></u>

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
One of the top 10 SPPs players (Having Vapors) died due to an unprovoked foul by some ugly orcs. They said something about 1 turners needing to die.
Tepemkau is the "biggest brute" with a record 9 cas.
Grugni's Grudgebearers has gone from 1st to 4th in 3 weeks.

<b><u>NA West </b></u>
Mal Havoc moved into 2nd place in the division with a bloody 2-1 win over the Plaguetown Rats. Unfortunately they are in no shape to battle Chaaarge! for 1st place in the division this week. The Gorgoth Despoilers pulled a huge upset knocking off Chaaarge! for their 1st win of the year.

<b><u>NA East </b></u>
Thunderous Flatulence also won a hard fought 1-0 match with the Black Crag Blood Sox. A battle for 1st place against Judas Priestess is next on their plate. Dinotopia got an incredible T8 TD against Grugni's Grudgebearers to move into a playoff spot with 26 points.

<b><u>European</b></u>
The Warpstone Plagues have fallen on hard times and now look up to see both Silver Pegasus and Return of the Ancients above them in the standings. Those 2 teams battle for 1st place this week. Identity has moved into the playoff picture with their 3rd league win in a row. In week #9, Snake-Eyes and Steel Dogs will meet in a battle for last place.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
The Tvarnholm Bearskins made World of Sport Legends their bitch and now rule down under. The Gortag Warskulls will do their best to cripple the highest STR team in the league in week #9. Shining Force missed an opportunity to climb back into the playoffs with a 1-1 tie with the Gortag Warskulls.

<b><u>Week #9 Results</b></u>

<b><u>Highlights </b></u>
Norse Rule!! - Both Norse teams currently lead their divisions with a combined 14-4 record.
Elfs on the rise - With 4 straight wins Identity is only 6 points from a wildcard spot.
Tepoc's Chosen no longer has the worst TR (Steel Dogs) or the worst STR (Gorgoth Despoilers) -now can they get a win.

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
In the biggest week yet, week #10 will see Chaaarge! and IronForge play for 1st place and Malevolence and Mal Havoc battle for 2nd.

<b><u>NA East </b></u>
With Anchorhead's departure, 4 teams are left to battle for 2 playoff spots. The dwarves find themselves in a must win situation vs Thunderous Flatulence.

<b><u>European</b></u>
Return of The Ancients have returned to 1st place. Identity will get a chance to prove they belong in the playoffs as they play the 1st place undead this week. Meanwhile, the Warpstone Plagues try to stop the bleeding vs Snake-Eyes.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
The Bearskins' win means everyone else is playing for 2nd. World of Sport Legends and Shining Force go head to head for 2nd place. Tepoc's Chosen may have one last chance for their 1st win against an injured Warskulls team.

<b><u>Week #10 Results</b></u>

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
Tepemkau (Return of the Ancients) is proving to be the baddest mutha ..... er .......mummy around with 12 casualties.
Throkk ze Thrower as taken the SPP lead with 48 points - "pleze don't drop za team coach. I'm da bess playa in da leegue" {wimper ...wimper]

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
IronForge put the pressure on Chaaarge! with a 2-0 shutout which left both teams tied for 1st place. Right behind them is Mal Havoc who dropped Malevolence 2-1. The Gorgoth Despoilers had their best game of the year with a 5-2 win over the Plaguetown Rats. Holy Doombringer Batman, a BC scored 5 TDs!

In week #11, IronForge and Mal Havoc will play for 2nd place while the Plaguetown Rats try and play spoiler vs 1st place Chaaarge!

<b><u>NA East</b></u>
Judas Priestess has won the division thanks to a 2-1 squeaker vs Buddy's Blitzing Eagles. Dinotopia and Sultans of Slice must still finish their week #10 game. A win by the lizards will give them a 1 point lead over Grugni's Grudgebearers for 2nd place.

In week #11, Dinotopia and Thunderous Flatulence meet. The loser is eliminated from the playoffs. Grugni's Grudgebearers and Judas Priestess play in a game Grugni needs to win to stay alive as well.

<b><u>European</b></u>
Return of the Ancients won 2-0 vs Identity, ending the elf's post-season hopes. Silver Pegasus held off the Steel Dogs 3-2 in OT to hold onto 2nd place. And Snake-Eyes put another nail into the Warpstone Plague coffin with a 3-2 OT win as well.

In week #11, Warpstone Plagues meet Return of the Ancients in a game they need to win for the playoffs. Snake-Eyes still has an outside shot of the playoffs but must beat Silver Pegasus this week and then get some help from elsewhere.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
The Tvarnholm Bearskins have won the Aussie division with the best record in the league and secured a playoff spot. Shining Force won a huge game vs WOSL in OT 3-2. The win puts them in 2nd place by 1 point and in control of their own destiny.

The top 3 teams in the division are all favored in week#11. A slip up by Force or WOSL could cost them a playoff spot. If all goes according to order, 2nd place in the Aussie division will likely come down to the week #12 game of Shining Force vs Tvarnholm Bearskins.

<b><u>Week #11 Results</b></u>

<b><u>Highlights</b></u>
Tepemkau (Return of the Ancients) continues to deal out pain with a record 14 casualties in 11 games. Someone put this Mummy to sleep!
A record setting performance by Identity in week #11 enabled Rhodes to become the league's 1st STAR player with 53 SPPs
Tepoc's Chosen finished the season winless after a year of injuries. But Miyuso proved you don't need a great record to be considered a winner.

<b><u>NA West</b></u>
Chaaarge!'s 2-1 win over the Plaguetown Rats secured the division title over IronForge thanks to TD differential. (The teams split the regular season meetings). IronForge won a huge game 1-0 vs Mal Havoc and sent the humans to the brink of playoff elimination. Havoc will face the Gorgoth Despoilers in week #12 to try and stay alive.

<b><u>NA East</b></u>
Grugni's Grudgebearers swept the division winning zons with a 2-1 win. Now they must sit and wait for the rest of the division to play to see if they will make the playoffs. Dinotopia moved into the driver seat with a 3-0 whipping over the Sultan's of Slice. They will face Thunderous Flatulence in a must win game for both teams.

<b><u>European</b></u>
Return of The Ancients continues their run with a 3-1 win over Warpstone Plagues. Silver Pegasus and Snake Eyes still need to play in a key game for both. Identity has a slight chance to make the playoffs but needs a win and 1) Mal Havoc to lose, 2) Gortag Warskulls to lose, 3) Sivler Pegasus to lose twice, 4) Snake-Eyes to lose, 5) Dinotopia to lose twice, and 6) Flatulence to lose.

<b><u>Aussie</b></u>
All Hail king Twahn and his Tvarnholm Bearskins. They have finished 11-1 and the #1 seed for the playoffs. Shining Force has made the playoffs but can be anywhere from a #6 seed to a #10 seed. Gortag Warskulls 3-1 upset over World of Sport Legends has left WOSP on the sidelines waiting to see if they will make the playoffs. Meanwhile the Warskulls have an outside shot but need the same help Identity needs.

11 games left in the regular season in TOTAL and only 6 out of the 10 playoff spots secure. Just what I like to see.

<b><u>Week #12 Results</b></u>

<b><u>Highlights</b></u> (Lowlights)
The WWB limped into the post season with 5 games unplayed in the last 2 weeks of competition. Very disappointing considering the strong showing for the 1st 8-9 weeks.

Dinotopia made the most of weak opponents and went from out of the playoffs to a #6 seed with a 3 game sweep over Mully, Bunny, and Patton. The last 2 of which bowed out with concessions, which doesn't sit well with the other teams who now have to face the cash abundant lizards.....poor form IMO.

<b>Best Coaching Performance</b>
Shaqpooh - took an unskilled sucky Lizard team and brought them into the playoffs

<b>Best Team</b>
Twahn's Tvarnholm Bearskins haven't lost since Moby Dick was a guppy and are the #1 seed for the playoffs.

<b>Best Sport</b>
Miyuso - who took a terrible halfing team and ..... retired. Who took a skink team and ......... converted them to a lizardman team and .........scored 2 TDs whoooohooo!!!! But honestly nice job sticking with an injury cursed squad. (FYI - Tepoc's Chosen has dropped down to the MLB to build back up and ......were physically thrashed again)

<b>Best Commentary</b>
Barash - for a funny tour down history lane check out the Steel Dog post match reports. The team's ineptitude was orginally viewed with bewilderment, followed by amusement, followed by astonishment, then capped off with disgust. Then when all was lost they played their best game of the year ..... then retired.

<b><u>W.W.B. PLAYOFF PREVIEW</B></U>

<B>Byes</b>
(1) Tvarnholm Bearskins
(2) Return of the Ancients
(3) Judas Priestess
(4) Chaaarge!
(5) IronForge
(6) Dinotopia

<b>(7) Shining Force (7-1-3) vs (10) Snake-Eyes (5-1-6)</b>
An interesting matchup of dodge filled teams lacking any tackle skills. In a major prognosticating leap I am picking Snake-Eyes to upset the elves by using their superior STR to overwhelm them. Shining Force took a beating to close their regular season and doesn;t have the reserves needed if they get hurt.

<b>(8) World of Sport Legends (7-0-5) vs (9) Grugni's Grudgebearers (7-0-5)</b>
This one is too close to call. WOSP legends has the advantage of the strong BCs. It might come down to the ability of the hobgobs to stay on the pitch. I'm gonna go with WOSP in OT.

<b><u>W.W.B. Championship</b></U>

<b>(1) Tvarnholm Bearskins - (11-0-1) vs (10) Snake-Eyes (6-1-6) (Twahn vs Indur)</b>
Snake-Eyes got here thanks to an upset win in the preliminary round. They will go against the hottest team in the league. To win they will have to contend with the Bearskin's 2 All-Star catchers. This task will be too tough to handle. Norse by 2.0.

<b>(2) Return of the Ancients - (9-1-2) vs (8) World of Sport Legends (8-0-5) (Mashandarius vs M0nty)</b>
This should be a real bashfest. The CDs will have to deal with the pain inflicting mummies plus the agile ghouls. A tough task. Their only hope is some bad niggle rolls by the Ancients. Undead (with those 4 wights) by 1.3.

<b>(3) Judas Preistess - (8-0-4) vs (6) Dinotopia (7-0-5) (Mully vs Shaqpooh)</b>
These two teams from the NA East meet for the 3rd time, splitting the 1st 2 meetings in very close games. This should be the closest match of the round with both teams evenly matched. Zons by .1.

<b>(4) Chaaarge! - (8-0-4) vs (5) IronForge (8-0-4) (Ug vs Gertwise)</b>
Two enemies from the NA West division match up with equal records and equal points. They split the regular season matchups, and neither game was especially close. Superior coaching got Chaaarge! this far, since they are a very average team. I think that will come to an end in round #1. Dwarves by .4.
