Hi all,
Just introducing myself as a newbie coach in WIBBL and am piloting the Bowcombe Wood Wanderers.
For those who dont know me, I am fumbbly famous as one of the founders and ex-Commish's of the Southern Wastes League (SWL) which has been running here since 2003, but when I moved from Australia to Dubai nearly 4 yrs ago, I am sort of in a middle of the road timezone (GMT +4) and hence play in all sorts of odd leagues (as well as the SWL).
Also, if anyone in WIBBL is a specialist at logos, would love if someone could knock me up one to use in the WIBBL pages...

Thanks to Wotfudboy for being a great sport in the cup final. We all know it isn't just about skill (but it helps!) in playing FUMBBL, but on the day he just didn't get the dice (and/or I did). You'd have to have been there to see all the twists and turns, but in summary his Chaos twice (in seperate halves) failed a GFI for a TD score and my Necro's not only managed to knock the ball loose from his grasp in the second half but then picked up and completed a long pass (with not a single high AG player or pass/catch skill) to escape the line of scrimmage and followed that up with a dodge away from tackler and tentacles to score ourselves in the only chance we had to get anywhere close to a score! Delighted with the win, equally delighted with the jolly decent manner that Wot took his slice of bad luck from nuffle!
Besides - can't let them pesky Choas types win the league and the cup in the same season - where's the fun in that! 
Though he as promised revenge when we next meet in the league... I suspect not such an empty threat!
Bring on the new season!!!  |

I am prepared to take this on again, if Block is struggling to find the time.
However this would have to wait until my university exams are completed, which is the end of May. |
