Multiple DP teams in Blackbox ... get LRB 5.0, with it's DP Nerf.
Too many Niggled players from facing all those Bashers in Blackbox ... get LRB 5.0, where the Niggle doesn't stop them playing.
I have decided that Blackbox is almost there when it comes to the ideal format, all we have to do is get the LRB 5.0 client in place and all the worlds issues go away.
Sooo, what's the odds of some nice chap finishing the LRB 5.0 client in 2009?  |

I don't mind losing Pixels, but I would rather field a near death Rats for the LoS, then have the lazy bugger miss the game, hence why I like the change in the Niggle system.
As for the Multi DP thing, that's a continuation from various threads that have been going on for the last few days. If you read my comments, you would see I was somewhat less concerned than others. |

LRB5 is the best ruleset and I agree that for all types of Blood Bowl, not just Black Box, it is a great set of rules. So I am hoping for an LRB5 client as well for Xmas, but in the interim... suck it up and play anyway! |

I still reckon bring back spps for fouls so people are more inclined to play dp's than be scared of them...
on top of that 2009 also brings the new blood bowl release which looks awesome and has no nuffle... those who nuffle seems to hate will probably go that way, since it can be played in leagues online...
maybe that will be the new client? who knows... |

feel free to code a LRB5.0 compliant client that is usable by pc/mac/linux, and we're good to go...
in the meantime, those of us who like a real ruleset, will continue to play the current one

hmm... maybe if everyone donated a dollar to skijunkie whick would probably be somewhere in the high thousands, he would make one pronto... but I'll leave you duke to taking the collection and asking him.... and maybe taking care of my dollar hehe
Personally I enjoy the challenge of trying to make one myself with the very little luck I'm having coz Java's new to me... |
