Are there any official statistics on the races played in BlackBox?
I haven't seen any, so while I've been waiting for games over the past week I have kept an unofficial tally just out of curiosity. The sample size was 213 games over pretty random times - not great, but not horrible - it should be relatively accurate.
Updated: I've added another more data, including the data given in Mossbeard and Skolopender's posts, who took the time and trouble to count up all of their opponents in the box. Sample size is now around 600. Also, Duke Tyrion has a sample size of over 1000 games below and the statistics are very similar.
In order of frequency seen:
14% - Orc
12% - Chaos
09% - Khemri
09% - Dwarf
07% - Ogre
06% - Skaven
05% - Wood Elf
04% - Chaos Dwarf
04% - Lizardmen
04% - Undead
04% - Nurgle's Rotters
04% - Dark Elf
03% - Necromantic
03% - Amazon
03% - Goblin
02% - Halfling
02% - Norse
02% - High Elf
01% - Human
01% - Elf
01% - Vampire
Not any suprises really, imo, except for maybe Human being so low and Skaven being so high. Interesting that Orc, Khemri and Dwarves get called out as the popular teams but actually it looks like Chaos is more common than Khemri or Dwarves.
The five bashiest races - Orc, Chaos, Khemri, Dwarf and Ogres - are the top five and make up more than half of all teams. Imagine that! 
Almost 1 in 6 teams are dodgy, and the majority of those teams are Wood Elf and Skaven.
In the 426 originally observed opponents, I never saw a single Elf team!  |

Thanks for the data.
I am thinking Skaven will be one of the more popular agility teams in B since they have cheap linemen and can manage with just a few AG4 players for ball handling. They also have claw/rsc access so they can hit back. |

thanks for the stats, as a high elf/khemri player i like to see both types represented. and i have no clue why no one plays humans. But I have never coached a human team, so maybe they are just too vanilla. |

I have played 101 [B] games, my opponents from most frequent are as follows:
16 games- Chaos
15 games- Orc
14 games- Dwarf
9 games- Khemri
6 games- Woodies and Rotters
5 games- Amazons, Humans and Necro
3 games- Darkies, Pro Elves, Norse, Ogres and Undead
2 games- Lizards
1 game- Flings, High Elves and Skaven
Never played- Gobbos, Vampires or Chaos Dwarves.
Most of my games(54%) were vs. the big 4(Chaos, Dorf, Orc and Khem).
Played a pretty good assortment of teams other then that.
On the stats Ansbach presented, I wouldn' t expect to see so many Skaven and CD and I would expect much more Dorfs.
Skaven tied with Dorfs at 7%? That is just crazy!
Where were all the Dorf coaches? Where did all these Skaven teams come from?
I have only played Skaven once in 101 games, have played Dorfs 13 times.
Does seem a little odd that i never played vs. Cd, I coached Cd more then any other team in [B].
I don't think Pro Elf teams are all that rare, Vampires and Gobbos are the hardest to find in my experience. |

Im guessing these are your stats.
I've played over 300 games in the box.
There are more orcs than any other race in my experience. Khermi & Dorf follow second. I coach Darkies & Woodies along with my chaos & undead. But before suggesting someone take that gauntlet up, remember it always starts with you... AND YOU have the same lame teams we all play against (Orc, Khermi etc) |

9/10 times i have favored my human team for activation, otherwise it has been my Orc team nr. 2(the one w. 1 game played)
So my input teams are pretty varied and so is my output opponents. I guess what you give the box is what you get. And besides this I have had a lot good fun in the box. 
My only worry is the weak concessions beeing pulled here.  |

So far I think I've been getting all around oppos, but it does seem like the scheduler likes to give certain races for certain races of mine:
Since my skaven have 5 Orcs and 6 dwarves (37%), but my Norse have 8 of those Chaos games... so almost 33% of the Norse games have been vs Chaos

I have played the most against Ogres, but thats probably because im metagaming my TS down more than anything. I think Ogre TS needs to be adjusted. They have the -2ts bonus from big guys.. but look! they dont have big buy. |
