Rules Review diiscussion:
http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbowl/Rules_rev.htm

the new wild animal reducing wights but not giving them strength access and pro being a trait at first look seem crappy to me. Pro is now going to be tough for big guys to get... bad i think, people that use wild animals as goalies and sweepers are gonna have a hard time now, wa's will be los or standing around picking their nose err I mean ROARING in RAGE. WIghts already the crappiest blitzers with only general access are now downgraded to 2 wights? Why? or if there was need to lower their numbers why not give them str access then?

Anyways first reactions it might turn out all right in the game.. lets see if there is a reason these people are the bbrc

I would have liked a clearer wording on your poll... hehe. A simple removal of the questionmarks would do it. Very Happy

Just as I finish my new necromantic team

http://redskulls.mysite.freeserve.com/

With converted wights, the buggers change the rules arrgh Evil or Very Mad
I'm not happy - I love my wights, I'd rather lose the ghouls.
At least access to str skills might have made up for it? (a bit Crying or Very sad )

Now where's that paint stripper.

Some of the highlights;

Page 35: Replace the entry for Piling On with: Piling On – The player may use this skill after he has made a Block, but only if the victim was knocked over. If the armour roll has failed the player may decide to ‘pile on' to the victim. If so then you may re-roll the armour roll. The piling on player is placed prone in his own square – it is assumed that he rolls back there after flattening his opponent (do not make an Armour roll for him as he has been cushioned by the other player!). If the player has pushed back his opponent before knocking him over, then he must follow up the block before he can use this skill. Piling On does not cause a turnover unless the piling on player is carrying the ball.

YES!!!

Q: What happens if I can't set up at least 3 players on the line of scrimmage for a Kick Off?

A: If a team has less than three players at kick off then the match is abandoned with the team who cannot meet the Kick Off conditions losing. Note that this is not conceding, it simply means the match ends as if you'd finished turn 8 of the second half.

Makes sense

Q: Does the +1 for inflicting 2 or more casualties on the Fan factor table mean any injuries caused or casualties only caused by Blocks as in gaining SPPs?

A: Only casualties that count for SPPs.

Again, makes sense.

The only thing i wonder is what kind of damage is going to happen to current fumbbl teams....
will we keep skills/players, or will we get free choices of others or what....
i guess only time will tell

Apparently nothing. They are still there and working the same way as before.

Edit - This was an answer to Mully... damn lag.

Christer - with several experimental races becoming "official", is it possible for us to have more than 5 open teams now ? It would be nice to have a variety of races without having to retire teams that I still want to play.

Maybe decrease the number of DivX teams you can have by the same amount if you want to keep the total number of teams per coach the same.

aye but think about it, we havent had an update silly, but yeah teams already made wont be as much affected. But if you say have 4 wights now, and you lose 3. You can only buy one more etc. Max is only 2. Cant replace til down to 2

That was all rumor.

From what I have seen, for the most part, I don't mind. I am kind of a wait and see guy.

I really liked WA the way it was, though. I think it had the most flavor of anything else on the pitch. It was dangerous but useable. Too bad for that, I hope they go back to it next year.

Very absurd:
A mummy with 7 skill and no doubles: Block, Piling On, Tackle, Break Tackle, multi block, guard and ? Shadowing? Sure Hands? lol... u could only give strip ball... [and with MA 3 u are sure that u will never use it Smile] Without Pro mummies doesn't have enough useful skill!

And what about dwarves? All with PO now will rox!

I'm in the same boat, I just converted an extra 2 wights and spent quite a bit of $$ making the models... it seems now I have to find some more zombie models

Only 2 wights allowed again Sad Evil or Very Mad

Dammit when I started playing only 2 wight where allowed, and now they have to take them away again.
Why couldn't they remove 2 ghouls instead, they die anyway.

Aarghh! only 2 wights in Necromantic too, why the hell can't they et us have 4 wights. They could at least have given the Werewolf Regenrate....

And Khemri are still allowed 4 Mummies and 2 Blitzers with ST skills.... BAH!!!!!
