I love playing in B! I used to play in R the same way, accepting all challanges, so now the games are a bit more even I guess. And I love to see my AV7 teams struggling for survival most of the games, and doing a good job at it. Almost got as much games on my gobbos inB as I have in R, so they can easily survive in B  |

keeping Ogres alive at a high TR level is not easy at all in a bashing-intensive environment, even
though a lot of your players have AV=9 and Thick Skull.
it's because you get the most important skills (Block, Tackle, Dodge, Dirty Player) only on
doubles, your TR is ridiculously high (low income) and Ogres are too expensive (120K gold)
so when you loose 1 Ogre and have 1 or 2 mng (which happens often enough) you'll have to play a number
of games until you can afford replacing that Ogre and you'll be happy about every not-so-bashy game
and that's not even mentioning the stunty, ST=2, AV=7 little guys which die like flies, anyways 
actually, when you look up the all-time-top-10 lists for Black-Box - Ogre - teams, you'll find more
retired teams than probably for any other race - and i suspect that's not because people got bored with
them |

I have posted many times the things I don't like about Box. I don't need to here.
The thing I like most is that the average oppenant of mine says, "You play Woodies in Box?" I enjoy having to figure out a way to win with six guys. I enjoy that there really isn't any way to comfortably exploit with my team. I enjoy that have the Box around gives me a chance to practice in a 'league-style' environment. It makes me a better leaguer. I sincerely hope that the box remains viable for a long time. |

I like the blackbox system because of it's potential. Because all system abusers aside it was/is a really good idea and it might very well turn back to how good it was in the beginning.
I also like the blackbox because it responds well to my theory about how all good free things are eventually ruined by selfish douche bags. But I would be equally happy if it turned out to contradict my theory. |

Blackbox is great as is Ranked. In B each Game is competive. It has the flavour of a tournament. I can play dorfs and don´t have to wait the whole day for a game:-) |

I see B as a potential training ground.
R coaches who cherry pick their way around games wont learn how to play the game as well as [B] coaches who play elves against dwarves khemri and orcs all day long.

The top10 lists in Blackbox!
Because there are few teams who can engineer list entries in this environment (e.g. TD Trolls), and the lists will constantly change because teams are being retired, unlike in Ranked where the huge juggernaut teams with the top10 players are put on the shelf to collect dust and hog the tables instead. |
