I've got a lot of experience about tournaments in real life.

Usually the handicaps are quite useless. For my experience better teams ( and obviously better coachs) usually win.

I like handicaps however I think it needs some tweaking. I think that somehow there need to be less caps when higher rated team match up ie TR250 vs TR350 is completely different from 150 vs 250.
Maybe any team over 300 should be considered TR300 for Handicap rolls.

To clarify what chickenbrain is saying, You can turn them off, but you cannot turn them off for games played on fumbbl.
