I'm curious how many people would be interested in some form of tournament with an entry fee and a big prize? Something along the lines of 15$ entry fee via paypal and the winner gets a full pro painted blood bowl team of their choice.

Any interest at all in something like that? If so, how many would be interested, and what tournament format would people like to see? Just tossing ideas around at this point, and it's not something directly affiliated with the site, but I'm curious what people think.

15 bucks is cheap for a full painted team
would it be
12 line elfs
4 lion warriors
2 dragon warriors
and 2 phoenix
if i win it
or would it be a dumb boxed set that you cant make a starting team worth a poop wioth?

also will you do custom conversions? or only bloodbowl minis?

sounds great, I'd like to see a swiss draw tournament personally.

A good idea would be to holdit on a particular day and time. It would be an all day event and everyone would have to be there to play. So none of this waiting around for weeks to find your next opponent

Yeah, I would say a one day "Event" style setup would be best, or possibly a 2 day deal over a weekend if there were too many players to do it well in one day.

As for details of the team, it would really depend on how many people where interested. For example, with 32 players it could probably be a full team of up to 16 players, winners choice of models making up a legal team. If there were even more players interested, it could include coaching staff and or converted players, it all depends really.

For anyone curious about the level of painting for the pro paint work proposed, here are some other minis, both blood bowl and warhammer:

I think you should set aside some of the entry fees to help support fumbbl (maybe 10%) and have an up front disclaimer about not being a neurotic Git if you enter (oh and the commish should definately not be a coach). But sounds like a fantastic idea.
