Due to unpopular demand I have decided to bring back the E.M.U.!

Finally the Rules
EMU is open to all non-elf teams in Open and DivX.
All elf teams are fair prey - Wood Elfs, High Elfs, Dark Elfs, and the new "Elves"
Points will be awarded for TDs (3pts), Casualties Inflicted (1pt for bh, 2pts for SI, 3pts for RIP, 6pts for RIP that stays dead - no apoth or failed apoth ), Wins (5pts), and Slam Dunks (7 or more cas in one game 10pts + the usual cas points)
Teams will lose 5pts for a loss, and lose 3pts for games in which they fail to score a casualty. In addition, you will lose points for casualties scored against you (1pt BH, 2pt SI, 3pt RIP) Getting killed by an elf is kinda embarassing!
Hopefully this addresses some concerns raised by a few others. Oh btw, If an elf team spanks an EMU team and gives them a negative score for the game, the Elf team can post that result in this thread and i will count it in the rankings! This ensures that not just successful EMU games will be posted in this thread.
Standings will be kept and posted weekly.

Finally, no personal attacks are to be levelled between coaches in the thread, chat room and PMs (Remember EMU critics - this is a two way street). So if you do have something to say, keep in character and be reasonably respectful, or I will deal out "da discipline!"
In the meantime, join, find an elf team to defeat, return here and post the results (a quick summary and a link to the match report)
No non-elf team will be rejected.

My grimfaced goblins beat up on some undermaned high elfs for the first match in EMU II...
Pop Goes the World 3 (2/0/0) vs High Fidelity 1 (0/0/1)
In an effort to be sneaky I decided to use a gobbo team for elf hunting and got to pick on a severly undermanned high elf team as my first victim.. er... opponent. A smashing success for those pint sized pugilists!

Argh! Massaccred by dark elfs... the ol gobbos got whacked around and my trolls were dumbfounded... oh well... at least I SI'd a darkie.

Tempted to join again with my dwarves or chaos. Last time I joined was around the time BunnyPuncher disappeared I think, and the EMU was all but dead so I left. Guess it finished at some later point in time.
I'm all for joining and killing elves though. As soon as my chaos get one or two more tacklers I'll sign up. Nothing better then causing career ending injuries (would prefer deaths though). |

Pop Goes the World coasts to an easy 3-1 win!

Admittedly I didnt hurt em as bad as I wanted... My trusty foulmeister Jimie Hendrix was a bit off today and only collected 4 KO's. But 3 of those stayed out all match. Scored 3 TDs with gobbos despite losing Bomber Dribblesnot on the first play of the game and TWO first half blitzes against me on the kickoffs. Undeterred my mighty gobbos pulled miracle after defensive miracle in the second half and scored on two consecutive dark elf possessions.
On a slightly sadder note.. I am now 0/5 for TTM with this team.

oooooh!, crushing woodies, hehe, now THAT WAS fun!
Kings Valley Guardians picked on a higher TR set of woodies and only managed to get bloody Anthem! lol
Now maybe I should have fouled a little more as the cas count is a little low but then again my bandaged Jamal Lewis clones were simply enjoying the drive!

Thanks to the wonderful support of the Blights fans extra damage was caused! I beleive that my fans are as much a part of the blights as the players themselves there for I think point should be awarded for the 4 casualties they caused... The goal is, to mangle elves... no matter what yes? |

Pop Goes the World loses a tough one... Ripper Bolgrot managed the TTM but my gobbos couldnt land in turn 8... The pesky elfs hid my gobbos parachute obviously... Then their lousy elf lineman throws a maximum range pass for a TD. Oh well.. this time the Wood Elf blood flowed like a river....
