If some one explains what it is I will put it there.

What are the King Of The Hill rules?

King of the Hill is a swiss-style tournament with the difference that "King Of the Hill" is a strict #1 plays #2, #3 plays #4, etc. with no regard to previous pairings. In other words, unlimited repeat pairings are allowed.

(#1 is the KotH, and continually has to defend his position on top of the hill to remain the 'King'.)

Not on Fumbbl it's not.

Here, King Of The Hill is the name Christer chose for a Knockout Tournament, where each round is drawn only after the previous round has been completed. (much like the FA cup in england (or, i think, the champions league quater-finals etc.))

So its just a knock out tournament where the next opponent is not know until everyone has finished the current round.

Is that it?

this would be nice opportunity to rename the King of the Hill Format as the name is confusing.

Calthors definition is what KoTH means everywhere else, while James and Garion are right in what Christer introduced.

Sth like "Seperate Draw each Round" sounds boring, but would make sure people understand what it is (and i am sure some native speaker could come up with sth. that is understandabale and sounds ok)

How 'bout renaming it into Cup format?

As AFAIK that's a pretty common cup format regardless of the game.
