So I just rolled a 4+6 on Midnight, my MA10 Gutter Runner, and I want to take the +1 MV to go to 11. However, there is no option for taking another +1 MV, like you cannot select a skill that you already have. It does show that I could take +1 AV, however.
Can anyone help me out? |

No characteristic can be increased beyond 10 within the new ruleset (a known fact for AV, but also true for MA). |

It's not the kind of thing everyone remembers, but I have to ask...... How is a rule more or less common? Does it need to appear on summary sheets? 
So, to re-iterate, the new guy is under my protection unless I decide he's not! Back off or face my wraths (yes, I have multiple versions!) |

that was probably one of the Hooks (on Tooks'n Hooks) and it got its +AV before the proper rules were implemented on fumbbl. It works properly now though and there will be no more 11AV trees (thank god) |

Who would choose AV 11 over being able to stand up without a roll? particularly when AV 11 means nothing vs claw. |

AV 11 means your that much more likely to roll again, and you can cherrypick to avoid claws!  |

not really sure how this is a "not very common rule"...seeing as how it's in the rulebook under the section "Improvement Rolls -> Characteristic Increases" on page 26 in *BOTH* LRB5 & LRB6..
