Loner is new skill that gives you a 50-50 chance to use a re-roll. If you fail a re-roll token is used but you don’t get the chance to actually make a re-roll. It appears a lot in the new FFB client with big guys and journeymen.
I had not given too much thought to this until now but I had noticed what seemed to be a high number of re-rolls that came up with exactly the same roll as before the re-roll.
What of course is happening is the Loner roll is failed and so the same result is being repeated for you too choose from.
Now I tend to forget I have loners on the team so it is my fault for taking an action and for choosing to use a re-roll with them but I am sure I am not the only one who does it.
Recently in chat there seems to have been a lot of talk about dice luck being worse or more extreme than in JBB and I wonder if this may be the root cause.
In a tabletop game this would not be a problem but on Fumbbl the automation can make us careless. I am not sure anything needs to be changed or indeed should be changed but if you think you have bad dice it might just be because of this.

Use 'Shift + Right Mouse click' to mark the Loner players. That way you can't ever get it wrong. Easy stuff. |

I think the problem he's bringing up is that the ffb client is not generating a new random number for the reroll roll, but recycling the last roll. |

Yes shift right click is great and will help!
And yes recycled rolls makes it look as if you rolled double skulls for a second time. |

He is talking about how it looks, that the client is focusing more on the old roll, than on the failed loner roll. |

There are much more pows rolled with the new client, than in Ski Junkies though, I noticed. |

That's kinda why I tried to lean mine toward the "don't know the playbook" ones. That would apply equally to journeyman and big guys. |
