I'm just curious. Because some team builds just don't seem quite right.

This makes me wonder what gives with Team Value. Yes it's obviously built to take on bashers. But at the TV the team is at, and has always been at it works equally as well vs AG teams.
This seems quite cheesy to be honest. What am I missing here? |

The only cheesy thing I can see is the team's treasury (at least if there won't be inducements in tournaments). |

This just in, pact a horribly designed roster. And now Bob with the weather. |

I don't understand what's wrong with a human lineman with mutations access for the price of a human lineman. It's okay because it's fluffy! |

Indeed. Making a race like another race except just plain better is how you balance a game. |

They also get P access too, mostly useless i know but they still get a bonus re-roll every game for a small 20k tv increase.

Yes |
They should just be forced to play with 3 big guys from the start as part of their fluff. But since they are not, then yes the marauders are too cheap. |

My team, 1050 TV. 9 Linemen + what amounts to two Elf renegades (even if one seems kinda hairy and big) one of them a blodger. The rest have a bunch of skills and a +ST as a cherry on top. And three re-rolls to boot.
1050TV gets me matched up against rookie teams with two skills =)
However, with all this I'm still at a disadvantage against the common cheesy starter teams like Amazons/Dwarfs and somewhat Norse or Orcs. So I guess it's not THAT much a big deal.
It's not bad design, just not munchkin-proof enough for fumbbl standards.
I say force pact to have all 3 big guys whenever possible. Ban amazons. Ban dwarves. Make BBox a happy place |

I dont think the pact team has much major/tournament winning potential at high TV though. But yes, the 12 marauder + 1 DE build is very efficient.
Another efficient build if you're looking for it is 6 chaos dwarves & 6 hobgobs.
Metapicking is a feature of B that is it's main downside, it's all the rage in Cyanide too. People regularily play orcs with 4x BOB, 4x Blitzer and skip the troll cause it's too much TV for the optimal orc TVrange (eg. right below below Chaos optimal TV ). |

Where I come from, "not munchkin-proof" is a sign of bad design. |
