As a new member of this FUMBBL online game I just wanted to say "Thank you". Thought it would be nice to leave some positive feedback, so at least those behind the scenes felt a little appreciation!

I've played 3.5 online games so far, and each opponent has been very friendly a considerate. Even the chap that got disconnected midway through a game pm'd me to apologise.

I'm even getting to use IRC for the first time... and people there are helpful (as well as quick to take the mickey out of a noob like me!). My teams were approved quickly and I've been impressed with the whole set up.

The only thing I will say is that I was a little concerned at how complicated it was to get going... I eventually got here via the GW BB forum, found a link and worked it out from there... but the process of downloading java, then the bb game, then the patch to the game, then setting it up, then installing IRC and working out how the hell to use it, has, I admit, not been the easiest thing to do! But it works now, so I don't mind!

Anyway, hope to play some of you guys soon... look out for those orc Wotfud Boyz... they'll be getting hurt at stadium near you soon! Very Happy

Just what we need, more southeners.

For anyone who doesn't realise, here in the UK the North/South divide is the Watford Gap.
I'm a Hemel Hempstead man myself.

There is a download available on Ski Junkies site that installs pretty much everything for you including java. Thats probably the easiest way to get going. Part of the confusion is most likely the Sun website itself. I'm a computer tech and even I get confused over there on occasion probably one of the worst sites I've seen from a major technical company.

I'm not sure if the appropriate people are really listening, but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Blood Bowl rocks (I learned this in high school 8 years ago when even some of my non-rpg JOCK friends got into the game), and the Java client is simply superb!

Thank you for the opportunity to get back into the game I've adored for years. Thank you for allowing my friends in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to play against me here in Indy. Thank you for placing my relationship in jeopardy (she doesn't seem as interested in the game as me...hm). Thank you for making me the angriest I've been in ages (after my third consequitive high-casualty game versus Wood elves).

Thanks for everything!!!!! This site and everything about it rocks hard tastey ass!!
