Hi

I am working on a tool to create stat pages for a group (I know some exists already, but where is the fun in reusing somebody else's code, instead of creating my own...).

Question is: Do we have an existing mapping of the positionID of a player, as found in the team roster, to the name of the position, and the name of the fumbbl icon for it? I could create a map with positionID:positionName with the info available, but can't find a list of the icons on the API help page...

If it is not listed on the API help page, it isn't there. For now...

You could check out the roster API:

https://fumbbl.com/xml:roster?id=51

This will show you information, including portraits and icons for each positional.

Alternatively, and more complete in some cases, you check the team-specific roster:

https://fumbbl.com/xml:roster?team=55051

This one will include off-roster players, such as major tournament prizes. Incidentally, the FFB server uses this latter form to load teams.

I was thrown by the fact that the API page lists the roster for khemri as ID=16, but that is the old roster for lrb4 (I guess), which does not contain the icons links. Should have gone deeper Smile
