Hello all technically minded people. Apologies in advance if I sound like an idiot but...
Just returned to playingafter absence of couple of years. All new client(which does look good) but I have had an issue last 2 games with the way the client opens.
first game I could not see the text box at the bottom and send messages. Cannot seem to shrink the screen, even in full screen can only see the top couple of lines of text.
2nd game was the same, tried to change screen settings and I lost the endzone and opponents reserved box.
Last game with Norse I had ball 3 squares out and literally could not move towards the endzone and score.
Any idea what settings may be wrong?
(I have tried turning it off and on again, twice!)
Any help apprciated. |

If you can't see the bottom of the client:
Go to the control panel and open Java. After that click on the advanced tab, then click on the little + icon next to security, followed by clicking the little + icon next to general, then remove the tick from the box that says 'show sandbox warning banner'. Finally click 'apply' and 'ok', you should be good to go. |

oh also, try changing your screen resolution if that doesnt fix the issue. |

Looks like a screen size problem Garion
The client is not resizable at the moment, but Christer and Kalimar are looking into a fix. Might take a while, though. I believe there's a way to focus on the chatbox so that you can actually type even if you don't see it. |

I tried screen resolution, that was how i lost the endzone. NB do not do that!
The first solution worked - thank you. I can now open a pitch and see it all and the text. Unfortunately I dont think i will have time to play again today and test it.

You probably lowered your resolution in that case.
Client recommends that you have at least 1024*768 resolution on the monitor you are playing at. |

another way for windows users is to move the task bar to a side. that generally lets the client fill the screen with chat bar available for me anyways |
