Christer's addressing black box, is very set, and you shouldn't stray off topic. However this also limits input.
So here, you can put YOUR simple fix for black box.
Rules
1. You may only post once. All second posts will be removed.
2. Fixes should be simple and not cause Christer or Kalimar much work. |

My fixes.
1. Pile on becomes a big guy only skill. Only ST 5 players may gain the skill.
2. Fan Factor's TV value is doubled. |

3 levels of fix, 1 is not necessarily exclusive of 2 and 3, but 2 and 3 are either/or.
1: Nerf Claw and PO. "Claw does not stack and PO is Injury only" is fine, I like "Claw only works if standing" as a half-measure in TT, so if you go down on a both or use PO you can't use Claw. But here, where Claw not stacking is already implemented as an option, the proposed fixes are fine.
2: Simple change to Box formula: add highest rank plus average of next four highest (in 10k increments) to effective TV when calculating matchup. This would be my first choice, because it does not involve new house rules, only the ones implied by any matchmaking formula.
3: Universal rules change that should have been implemented in CRP long ago: add 10k to TV for each Emerging Star, and 20k for each Star, Super-Star, or Legend.
Edit: Seconding others on merging B and R, and letting Ranked teams join matchmaking pools if they can't find something on gamefinder. That way you can play Box-style random matchmaking games and then sometimes play (competitive) games against friends and league-mates and whoever without having to go on Gamefinder all the time and play Mexican stand-off to keep your teams eligible to play your buddies. Best of both worlds. I'd play more Box if Box counted toward the 10% rule. |

If you don't like the rules, play in the division that already allows CPOMB nerfs, League. |

Every coach gets a very prominent rating with a good acronym. The rating works thus: you start with 0 points. For every player you have with claw pomb gain 10 points. For every amazon team without 4 blitzers gain 10 points etc etc. this can then be the first thing that you see on logging onto the site... |

Make another MM division with adjusted rules (for noobs/pixelhuggers) and leave Blackbox as it is. |

There you go. On the site I played on before coming here, they had one division and you could either choose your opponent or you could use the randomizer to play against anyone else using the randomizer. |

This. Make a Plasmoid Division - roster changes and all - my money says it will quickly become the most popular of all divisions. |

1. What Christer has done.
2. PO only possible against players with less strength.
3. Pairing by experience instead, experience directly related to number of skills (progressive value when stacked on individual players), for example:

1st skill: 4
2nd skill: 5
3rd skill: 6
4th skill: 7
5th skill: 8
6th skill: 9 |
(or whichever numbers would reflect the experience level of a team best) |

And add Garion custom rosters ... LETS GO !!!!!
My fix:
Remove PO , this skill is ridiculous with every race or like Harvestmouse only St5 can have it. |

Create a true Ranked environment by Merging Box and Ranked and using automatic matchmaking only.
All other play takes place in [L] which we rename Unranked. |

Remove Piling On altogether- problem solved.
Also change Sneaky Git so its actually useful- I like changes send off to go to KO box and then can come back out like a KO result between drives. |
