ag5 leap ftw! Yes, dodge is probably the best option but have some fun! This is a ranked team....imagine when pickers pick you for no cpomb and have to deal with a leaping CW. Even without a double, he can go wrestle at 75 and strip ball/tackle at legend if he lives that long and be a BEAST!

Play for fun...leaping is awesome fun anyway, in this case....you could end up with a st4 leaping monster on a team stacked with strength skills Smile

Depends on playstyle...

Dodge is very pedestrian, and the obvious choice - but leap could be hilarious as a cage busting option! For this alone, I'd consider Wrestle instead of Block.

Dodge for me.

A Chaos Warrior can not have enough skills to be both a sacker and a ballcarrier. With sure hands already taken and only 2 more skills to go after this I think his role is already pretty much decided: ballcarrier.

Dodge and then block makes him so much better at this.

If he didn't have SH leap all the way. Given SH, go with dodge, then block, and roll +MA for legend.

Leap is full of win. Dodge is full of meh!

Man that team has gimped themselves Sad. Elves will always have more ag then the chaos and the bashy teams will kick the snot out of those friendly guys.

It's ranked though. Gotta get games somehow!

Time to revive this old thread, as I was just thinking of trying to build a leap/jugg/strip ball beastman.

Did anyone give this a go?

well, if you're set on building a leap beastman I would wait till you get an AG4 one & take Very Long Legs for the 2+ leap. Wrestle, Strip ball, two-heads & sure-hands being some other skills to throw in. This is probably not the usual route for chaos though.

Am I all for this...yep! Have I tried this...nope.

I do have a Nurgle team whose theme is that they're all ex-elves and will attempt to try the passing & scoring game, but I'm going to try and build the warriors into pseudo-elves and the beastmen will try to protect them. I haven't played them a lot yet, but I expect to get slaughtered most matches though Very Happy

& yeah, bad necro - you might of just thrown a link to the old post in there for reference. I read half of it thinking it was a post this year Laughing

Lol, I usually try and look through old articles, as to think I'm the first one to have an idea.

Next time I'll just start my own thread.

I often wonder what Blood Bowl would be like without forums...
