I included your suggestion into the LOS types players.

guard - 4 4 2 9 guard
defensive end - 6 4 1 9 wrestle
pass protector - 5 3 4 9 side step fend
center - 3 5 1 9 stand firm
tackle - 5 3 2 9 thick skull block tackle
fodder - 5 3 3 9 wrestle foul appearance regeneration
Food for thought to balance those too.

Yes, as the idea is to have 16 equally useful players, so to provide a real hard dilemma upon team building.

Ok, so I wen back to the drawing board, and listed 16 positionals with NFL reference. Mixed and matxhed, and got the following list, and parameters. The parameters are 1st iterations, so there might be inbalance in player power. As all players will cost equal, they ahould be equally useful. Please help with your feedback to point at any possible imbalance.
1 quarterback - 7 2 4 7 pass sure hands accurate
2 fullback - 6 4 3 7 sure hands
3 running back - 8 3 3 7 sure hands
4 tight end - 6 4 3 7 catch
5 wide receiver - 8 3 4 7 catch nerves of steel
6 slot receiver - 7 3 4 7 dodge catch
7 center - 3 5 1 9 stand firm
8 offensive tackle - 3 4 1 9 block grab
9 defensive tackle - 5 3 2 9 thick skull block tackle
10 guard - 4 4 2 9 guard
11 defensive end - 5 4 1 9 wrestle strip ball
12 linebacker - 6 3 3 8 block migthy blow
13 strong safety - 7 3 3 8 juggernaut frenzy
14 free safety - 6 3 4 8 block pass block
15 cornerback - 8 3 4 8 shadowing disturbing presence
16 kicker - 6 2 4 8 kick dirty player hail mary pass

All players choose two skill categories that they can access (GS or GA etc etc)
50k players start with two skills taken from those categories
60k players start with one skill.

In theory every player is useful because strength in one area is hampered by weakness in another.

Running Back and Defensive tackle look underpowered. Why have tackle when no one have dodge?

Still 0-2 for each player I suppose?

Still 0-2, still no progression, still players are for free.

Slot receiver has dodge, but yeah, that is the only kind.

What about removing speed from running back and adding dodge onto it?
