Pretty much this idea is a microcosm of filling the grid.
Basically you play as each team typeduring a 2 month period. Only the best result is counted so you can play Gobbos over and over until you get the win. Best score is out of 24 (for 24 team types).
I would most definitely participate as I have all 24 teams now and have a weekly schedule where I play a subset of 4-5 teams on any given day.
I spoke with Koadah about this idea and he was more into the idea breaking it down into groups of teams - to which I would say "Make it so you only get one shot with each team, and you can choose your best result from any team in the group". It might make participation easier.
Also, as for names, I think Gridiron Sprint is most fitting, by far.
Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, is there any interest? Would you play a variety of teams for bragging rights? How would you attempt to win it? |

I have to play with all 24 teams? Hell, no! I have no interest in playing about 15 of the 24 teams!  |

I have the teams grouped as such
Mortals: Norse, Humans, Amazon, Dwarf
Terrible: Slann, Ogres, Goblin, Vampire, Halfling
Wicked: Nurgle, Chaos, Chaos Dwarf, Chaos Pact, Underworld
Throw It: Dark Elves, Pro Elves, High Elves, Wood Elves
Freak of Nature: Necromatic, Undead, Khemri, Orc, Lizardmen
I don't know whether to attach Skaven to Elves or Mortals but this kind of grouping would make it a lot easier, right? |
