Pink Slip Death Match Mode

I have grown bored with my box teams thus I have invoked the dreaded Pink Slip Death Match Mode Rules. Since Iam to spineless to retire them.
Here is how it works:

1)I will activate all 7 of my Box teams at the same time.

2)IF my team who is activated losses THEY ARE RETIRED and sacrificed to the dark Gods of the Box.

3)Each team must win 5 matches before they are taken off of PSDM mode.

4)A tie is a push and does not count towards the 5 win threshold, just stays my hand for one match.

I offer this challenge to my fellow box coaches.

IF you play one of my teams and I invoke Pink Slip Death Match Mode then as a matter of honor you to must retire your team if you lose!!!

Now I will not hold it against you if you do not retire your team BUT it does prove to me that you are a lover of pixels and fondle them when no one is looking.

I will see you guys on the pitch...the Pink Slip Death Match rules have been invoked!!!!!!

Hmm... I should probably try to get it for the Badge Hunters... but then again, losing would be the end of the line. No, I'm too much a pixel hugger. Very Happy

Maybe once they've earned all other available badges... Razz

I think you will be very amazed on how many coaches would like to play some Box in Pink Slip Death Match Mode.


I usually activate in Box at 22:15 IF I do not have some pre arranged tournament action or I feel the need to play with the Buccaneers over in ranked.

Nobody? Perhaps "Few people" could be argued... but then again, it depends on the team. I have a handful of box teams I would not want to retire, but most would be happy to go down in the glory of a pinkslip match. Of course, I don't play those teams all that much, but maybe we'll just have to activate them all sometime and see what happens... Very Happy

I have one of each box race and am not that attached to any of them.

I'll play it sometime.

For reference the rules for the badge are:

High Stakes - Loser retires his team (you must win for badge)

But both players must agree before the first turn that the match is for retirement. In B this can be after the draw but before the first kickoff.

I think it is a great concept, sounds like fun even!

Too bad it wasn't a division standard..

..Lose 'X'(10?) games and your team gets retired, I'd be down for that. You would probably see a dynamic difference in the type of teams being made and played with.

Altdorf Hammers are the first to be retired of my 7 team stable of Box teams.

They suffer an utter dicing of titanic proportions to the evil Slime Barons. They suffer 15 Turnovers during the match and are just crushed.

Match took 32 minutes to finish out the 91 game run by the Hammers.


Only 6 teams left in the stable...Who can survive the Pink Slip Death Match?

Before the match I invoked the rules of Pink Slip Death Match and he declined to accept the challenge..

Thus the Hammers took on all the risk.
