Nice intro. What did you use to make the video?

I have a bandicam license, hadn't thought of putting up any fumbll content in a while. Trouble is, even bandicam makes several GB of video file. Its doable, especially if you do a fire and forget type thing of putting stuff up on youtube, and then deleting the original video file.

Something called Debut, recorded audio on Kristal, then combined them all on Windows Movie Maker. Bit clunky but did the job. Resulting file is 73MB.

In my experience, a lot of screen capture software, captures the raw video. And since a FUMBBL game can last more than an hour, the size will inevitably be quite large. A video editing tool will let you compress the video into a smaller file. If you only capture the FUMBBL window, the resulting compressed video file wont be large at all. I did use FRAPS a while back to capture video from other games, however I was never any good at editing, and Windows Movie Maker kinda sucks Razz
I would however suggest that if you make a FUMBBL video, you add the comments afterwards, and maybe edit out 'boring' parts of the game (ie. long thinking pauses).
I would love to see a video where a couple of commentators banters, talks strategy, and throw out 'fun facts' about the teams playing. My attention span doesn't let me watch through 1-2 hours of "Let's play"-video, however I know many likes those videos.

Have anyone tried NVIDIA's shadowplay, and know how it works with FUMBBL? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_Shadowplay

Really good idea. And yes it does suck, but it was on my laptop when I got it and we've had lots of fun with it doing stopmotion with the kids.

Windows Movie Maker is good for making simple videos like that, just that my videos was awful compared to other people's videos Razz

Or you record while spectating a majors game, and you get all the other specs' comments as bonus commentary. =D

There is a certain amount of permission issue here, I would imagine.
