Greetings, Hubba Bubbalicious is a rookie team with a rookie coach on the first adventure into a league environment. After 2 thrilling rounds they now find themselves 2-0 in the third division.

Game 1 was against Parasitic Worms. This was a hard fought battle and the girls were lucky to take the win. Unable to score on offence in first half due to some good defence from the troll and a whole lot of fouling. The ref was totally blind only picking up 1 of 6 fouls for 2 SI ladies.

Second half was all about defence but the troll was able to get good field position and place a skaven in sight of the touch down for the lead and most likely win. With 2 turns to go only Mama Bubbalicious stood in the way from a certain TD. The troll wound up for the blitz was pointed in the right direction and rolled skull/both down. He also managed to badly hurt himself in the process. This left an open blitz on the ball which ended up in the crowd and fortuatously end up way down field with a free blitzer, Kathy McKankles, to pick up and score turn 16.

Fittingly Mama was MVP and skilled up. Props to the worms but Hubba Bubbalicious will take the points.

Game 2 saw the girls face off with Force Frogs. They too were coming in with a win and with very little experience playing against frogs were unsure how to approach the game. With Cherry and Cola out of the game, a loner was required to fill the roster. William definitey received some funny looks.

Again the first half saw no success on offence. A well timed double skull, rr double skull left the carrier wide open for a blitz. The girls were able to prevent a defensive score retrieve the ball and have once last crack for a TD with a pass from Mama. It was looking possible for the T8 score until a timely intercept from a catcher ended the drive.

Second half was all about defence. The girls found it hard to contain the frogs as the leaped and dodged around the field. The opening came midway 2nd half when the frogs found some space and looked to capitolise by caging the catcher off and then a dash for the TD. An unfortunate trip left the smallest of openings for Star Blitzer Kathy McKanckles to Blitz. Amazingly the ball bounced back and was caught. Support swept across to cover and the race was on. TD was scored turn 15 for a well deserved skill up.

Again props to the Frogs as the girls were never looking like winning the game but Hubba Bubbalicious will take the points.

Gobbos are next and the girls are definitely nervous coming against a legend coach. They will be at full strength however navigating the frogs injury free. With a serious problem on offence the coaching staff are going to have to try something different as they cant rely on defence to get the wins.

Hopefully a ref with morals is appointed for our next game to minimise the hospital bill.

Dillon Panthers v Victims of the Clans

This was not a game i was looking forwards to, this khemri team means business and if you are following my run in DOTP you can see that luck has not been with me the past few weeks.

The panthers kicked off deep to Victims who struggled to recover the ball and after a few lucky blocks i sound myself in possession near the edge of the pitch. a failed dodge the ball went into the crowd.

What happened next was just pure luck. the ball managed to find its self into the arms of a dwarf who threw it deep into the Khemri half. 2 GFI and a dodge later "luke" the dwarf blitzer crossed the line.

The second half came and i was too busy eating pringles to remember i was now receiving and setup in a defensive stance. i managed to get my dwarf runners back and in possession however after a blitz from the Khemri the ball popped loose. It popped loose into the arms of the 2nd runner who dodged ran up the pitch and handed the ball off to luke who was in the TZ of a skeleton. luke then dodged and ran up the pitch taking the ball into score.

with 3 turns left we kicked the ball off and a brilliant drive from the khemri took them in.

Final score 2-1 to the dillon panthers.

Greetings, Today saw the clash between Hubba Bubbalicious and Der Green Tide Dark Side. Against an experienced Coach and a team of green evil the girls were not sure if they were going to get through this unscathed.

The Tide won the toss and elected to receive, they also had the whole crowd with them. There was trouble finding volunteers for LOS as they could see some unsavoury characters waiting to come on.

Kickoff led to a riot. Turn 2 and the Fanatic fired up and managed no pows in 5 blocks, The Chainsaw managed a KO and there were no players down to foul. Hubba Bubbalicious had a trick up their own sleeve and managed to sneak an extra player on the field start of turn 2. The fanatic was left wide open and was badly hurt. Pressure was put on down field toward the ball carrier. Things were looking good until an amazing sequence from Darft Cognus dodging past 3 players, 2 GFI and a pass to an open player down field. Cover swarmed across and the TD to Darft Millenial could not be stopped Turn 6. Next kick off led to a Pitch invasion with Half the team being stunned and not a single greeny. A fortuatous kick next to the catcher allowed forward progress and an unfortunate trip from the Tide left an easy run for Lucy Longlegs to tie up in T8.

2nd half started with a blitz for the tide but the ball ended up deep and was safe. Casulties were starting to take there toll on the Tide and with no fanatic or chainsaw to do damage the girls were able to utilise good positioning to control play. The tide did dis-posses the ball once but did not have the numbers to capitalize. The ref was very alert to any fouling and sent both attempts off. An easy canter for Lucy Longlegs to score the winning TD and skill up.

Bobby Bootylicious was MVP with 7 blocks for 2 cas and a deserved skill up.

The Coaching staff were alot happier with todays performance and will be watching the Vamps closely as their next opponent.

In the interests in fostering some *cough* friendly *cough* competition in the 3rd Division, the Committee of Volksgrad Vultures BBC would like to report a current two-game winning streak (by the grace of Nuffle).

Our first match against the Hyper Funk Sultans was, on behalf of the Vultures, a technical display of how not to launch an offence. The spiky shoulder-pads and general size of the opposing Chaos Warriors deterring a grind offence due to an unwillingness to turn our squad into so much red goo, the Vultures attempt to push a wide offensive line almost resulted in defeat after a turnover. A three turn scrum within our own half resulted in a re-turn over after a couple of plucky 1D blocks freed up a Blitzer, allowing a lucky pass and break for the TD. Despite losing the Ogre and the Thrower early in the second half, the Vultures pulled off a successful defence that held the Sultans on the half-way line for the duration of their drive, with the icing on the cake being a revenge niggling against the Chaos Warrior that caused a -MA on our thrower. Final result: 1-0 to the Vultures.

Our second match versus Suck On It witnessed one of the finest displays of imploding Blood Lust ever seen on astrogranite, and it is to the credit of the Suck On It coaching staff that the Vampires held on to the first half right to the bitter end. With the Vultures ultimately holding off the self-mutilating Vamp offensive and inflicting a few KOs and Badly Injured's themselves, the second half saw the Vultures hold on to their numerical advantage. Once again, a turnover due to negligence on behalf of the Vultures Offence almost threatened to turn their leading position into a loss, but a rush defence by a couple of linesmen, a Blitzer and what has to be the fastest Ogre in Kiselv returned the ball back into the Vulture's hands. After seeing off all of Suck On It but two of the Vamps to the KO Dugout, Maximus 'Orcy' Gorky powered over the line for the deciding TD. Final result: 1-0 to the Vultures.

The Kislevites are looking forward to their next match against everyone's favourite opposition in the form of the 3 Big Guy 'Here U be Brave Adventurers' Pact squad - should we stave off the injuries, we look forward to the prospect of maiming some frogs.

From Volksgrad with love,

Gorb.

Next up for Hubba Bubbalicious was Suck on it. Could they carry on their winning ways for a 4-0 record. Only Nuffle would know.

The girls won the toss and elected to receive. There was a classic push left to draw the team over before rolling right and a T6 score in the right corner for Lucy Long legs. A run of 1's really hurt the vamps chances to do much in the rest of the first half.

2nd half led to a mass scrummage on the halfway line. A well worked chainpush opened a gap to allow dracula to dodge out and make a break for the TD. Cover was able to come across and a Blitz from Bobby bootylicious sent Dracula POW for Trinity Thunderthighs to catch the bouncing ball. A blitz from Kathy McKanckles killed a thrall a cleared a path for Trinity to move through. Things were looking good as the girls marched down field before a well planned hypno gaze from Selene opened a channel for Lestat to blitz. POW, a lucky bounce saw the ball land between 3 of the girls. Trinity was able to recover the ball and with a numerical advantage was able to get into cover. Score T16 for 2-0 win.

Kathy McKankcles deserved MVP for the kill and opening a channel to allow the score.

A good game from Suck on it but nuffle was not in their corner with some below average dice rolls. The coaching staff wish them luck as they will be a team to reckon with in the future. For now the Coaches celebrate another win and look forward to their next encounter.

Volksgrad Vultures BBC better be wearing cups because the girls are not going to play nice.
