One option could be to roll d8s (where 8 count as 0) everywhere you would normally roll a d6. And change the natural 1 and 6 rule to 0 and 7 to follow suit.
Also let all players that start on LOS after a TD on the first player turn automaticly succed armour rolls.
Should reward risktaking and quick TD more than the current rules.
If that is what one is after.... |

another thing could be that let drives be like OT, the half ends when someone scores.
But then, a lot of games will be 1-1...
Then you could have a third drive with a setup similar to BB7s (no players at LoS, ballo lands in the middle. But, games would be a lot longer with 3 "halves"... |

A fix in this sense is to make the scoring team recieve again.
Stalling is the most interesting part of the game tho. |

Best anti-stalling measure is to defend better. I appreciate why it may frustrate others but it is rarely out of one's control. |
