Well FUMBBL fans we are at the final 8. The end is in site and the teams can taste glory and fame if they can just make the final push.
The High Elves have their panties all waded up because there are 3 dwarf teams still standing and that just riles them up big time.
Lets take a look at the Qt final match ups.
 ApartaPapa Que Te...Who am I kidding, the unpronouncable team of death and destruction
VS
 Nurgle Wasp
This should be a very interesting match. The guard/MB and toughness of the dorfs against the CPOMB of the Nurgles. These types of matches hinge almost completely on the block/AV rolls.
From a tactical stand point it will be interesting to see if the Nurgle scumm want to stand toe to toe with the dwarfs or just play a hit and run CPOMB blitz plan and not get fully engaged. The wasp also have one ace up their tentacle arm sleeve in that they will be getting some nice inducement money, so a wizard Iam sure will be showing up.
IF this match does not swing to far one way on the Block/AV dice then that wizard will most likely be the path of the wasps overcoming ApartaPapa Que Te.................
This has the makings of a really good match up.
This one goes into OT and the winner, staggers over the end line with a team decimated for the semi final. ApartaPapa Que TeEmpapa LaPapa wins the match on turn 6 of OT... 2-1.

 Tonight is the Night
VS
 Drakensberg Raiders
Another really interesting match up, dwarfs vs Necros.
Tonight is the Night is a solid dwarf team with a uber runner guiding the way. They are going to look to man up on all the zombies and blow them up to kingdom come and then tee off on the wolves. Slow, methodical demolition of these necro scumm is in order.
The Raiders are going to be hard pressed in the is match on the LOS. Their zombies are chumps and the Flesh Golems need to come up big or they will just get taken down by the horde of dwarf longbeards. The wolves obviously need to get some timely CAS on their blitz moves and not get tied down.
This match hinges, IMO on the pre match. The Raiders are 70 TV favorites in the match. If they stand pat and do not transfer money into petty cash to get at least a wizard, they are toast. They need to get that wizard to take out that uber runner in the cage, maybe even look at some babes or Star. Their lineup as is, is not good enough to take down these dorfs in a stand up fight.
Raiders, in their hubris, that they can take down the Dwarfs as is, scoff at Milfords advice and beleive their own bluster and transfer no money to petty cash, go down in flames hard. Tonight is the Night wins 3-1.

VS
 Amiga Games
The last stand of the High Elves is on display in this one against a horde of greenskins who pick on Goblins.
Well these High Elves are not goblins and they are going to give these Orcs a serious run for their money. OTS magic and a ST4 ball sacker need to come up huge for the Amiga side to win this one. They are giving up a chunk of inducment money so they will most likely have to face a wizard in this one.
Bashas need to do what orcs do. Clean the LOS of the pointy ear scumm, start depitching them fast and then jump all over their catchers and blitzers. They need to stay patient though because those elves are slippery and cunning. One ball handing screw up good seal their fate fast in this one.
Amiga Games just has to much "game" for these orcs and they get their key turnover in the second half and stall it out for the 2-1 win.

 Wedding cabbage for everyone
Now this is going to be a heavy weight, titanic show down of epic proportions. I think both sides are just itching to stand toe to toe in the middle of the pitch and just "throw down" on each other.
May the best block/av/injury dice win!!!!
Now, do the dwarfs spend their 100k on a bribe to keep the roller around? or do they take 2 babes to give them an edge on the bash game that will erupt in the middle of the pitch?
The Dwarfs bring the beer and it tips the balance of power in the second half as the dwarfs come storming out of the KO box, drunk and in killer mode.
Uusiverikulho bid to perform the rare back to back majors win comes up short as they get reduced to the point of no resistance and the dwarfs walk the ball over the end line on T16 for the win.. 2-1

Iam with the throng of fans leaving the stadium early to get ahead of the rush as Wedding cabbage stinks up the joint and just spins around and dies on the pitch against the Nurgle Scumm.
Some fans are demanding a refund and others are burning cabbage in front of the stadium.
So much for that epic match, huh? |

It was a game of double skulls, but while dwarfs got screwed Nurgle could just laugh it off and keep rolling. At least quad skulls saved them from the humiliation of getting beast scored on  |

I was mingling with the fans when I saw a advertisement laying on the bar counter.
Death Roller for sale!!!! Real cheap, fire sale prices.
Used in a Blood Bowl major for one game, no damage, still works like new. Buy it now as a collectors item or hitch up the pull combine on it and us it on the farm and use it as a tractor.

A fun fact from the top half semifinal, where the Dorf team with an unpronouncable name goes up against Tonight is the night. Neither team has given up any TD's in the main tournament so far. So I predict a game of entertaining dwarf headbutting for 24 turns and no touchdowns, with a wizard used to stop one try, and decided by which team has played more conservatively in the second half and squirreled away most rerolls for the penalty shoot out
PS. Actually all 3 semifinalist have not given up a single TD against. Perhaps we have entered an era of defensive teams? |

Well the Nurgle Wasp end the Ulthuan tour whit a very hard macht versus Apartalapapa.
Thanks to the fans for be cheering whit us and to our rivals for a lot of good machts.
Was an incredible tournament for the team, and we are sure that it is the first of a lot of participations on gretas tournaments. |
