The basic concept is appallingly sexist.
The poses seem unimaginative. The details underwhelming.
But the key thing is I would be ashamed to field these and would think less of anyone that does.
Nice idea (the KS bit), terrible realisation. |

There are already lots of unarmoured nudes out there. Imagine a female chaos team that look more like a chaos version of 40k Sisters of Battle. Spikey bits, icons, maybe even fallen angel like wings, or something else imaginative like that. That would be awesome!
That would be something fresh, and not compete with all the other generic nudes out there. Why buy these over those? |

My take from this thread is that for a female team to not be sexist they should be men.

Not my style. Female humanoids in armor is way too generic, I find it hard to associate them to an existing BB team. However, they have an 80's vibe that will surely appeal to some people.
As for the lewdness issue, I think it's been blown out of proportion. There are much worse models out there, these are just metal-bikini fantasy figures. My take is that sexy for the sake of sexy is generally tacky and may detract from the quality of the design, but if I was to face blatantly sexual minis on a tournament I wouldn't mind it at all (kids have seen much worse on TV and the Internet for sure). Even if I respect FUMBBL's policy on sex and cursing, this is a bit too politically correct.
What I don't understand is the link between this kickstarter and FUMBBL. Why is it featured in the news? Is it because it may lead to the production of Stunty Leeg teams in the future? Do they have permission for that? |

I prefer Bazookoids or Knick knocks to top -nuts - again they can be painted as armour or lycra.
And yes we do have permission to produce the stunty leeg teams. |
