"But Chief... they are Elves...", Silvur said with resignation. He knew his chieftain to be stubborn and wouldn't change his mind. "But, Elves...", he muttered and let out a big sigh.
"Ach well, Goldur, you're the chief, I will contact some scouts about available players".
"Good lad, Silvur. You know, these are not your regular elven thralls. These Elves are BB professionals! With the wages I can give, we will be BUYING the league title! Hohoho."
"But they're Elves, Chief", tried Silvur again. "Enough! It's settled!", Goldur slammed. "Very well, I'll start drawing up the contracts right away Chief", Silvur sighed again. |
And so the Sjoktraken Oilers were born. |

For those of you who've already used the template, try replacing the first 4-5 lines at the start of the Story block.

I had to delete an awful lot of spaces after each backslash too... |

That's odd. Works fine when I do it. This might be different browsers doing different stuff.
Anyone else experiencing this? |

Thank you for your interest. League is currently full, but there is a waiting list if you're interested. FYI: games are expected to be played on evenings server time (European time zone).

Waiting on a couple more teams to join before rolling out the divisions.
EDIT: League rescheduled to start tomorrow (Tue), if need be with a couple of fillers. |

It's official, Norscan Survivalists League's first season has kicked off!
Good luck, and enjoy the games! Or; RAAWR!!, as the Norscans would say.
...and remember:
1. No player retirements, time outs, concessions, or star players allowed.
2. All stat gains must be taken, even on doubles.
3. Right Stuff, Claw, Piling On and Sneaky Git have special rules. Read about them on the group page.
A few teams hit bad weather and still haven't made it down the coast, so unfortunately some of you can't start playing just yet.
They are:
Goblins = filler 7
Norse = filler 12
Slann = filler 13
Chaos Pact = filler 20 |
