Hello FUMBBL.
I've been away exactly one year and would like to start playing again. I was hoping to confirm a few things I think I've learned after my forum searches, and to ask a few questons. (If someone has links to the forum posts associated with any changes I'm asking about, that would be epic) Thanks in advance for any help.
1) Royal Rookie Rumbles and Brawls will now have Box and Ranked teams in the same tourney? If so, that's way cool. Good job tourney team.
2) Anything mega cool in the last year I should know about?
3) Has anything changed about the way Black Box pairings are made in the last 12 months? If not, can someone refresh my memory on just how the teams are protected up to 15 games and 30 games? (Maybe a link to Christer's explaination of that new system that I can't seem to find)
I'm hoping to keep it low key with my limited time, and as such I will probablly avoid playing my 300 game human Box team if it means being automatically paired with a big claw team in the draw.
Any juicy gossip anyone would care to PM me would also be gobbled up. Also, if you feel I owe you or your tournament winner a set of FUMBBL dice after one of my sponsored events, PM me an address. I've got the sets here waiting. Cheers. |

1) Brawls are still Box only. The XFL are now cross division and you just missed the Human one.

The 15/30 games protection is covered in the first post here, which is the top sticky thread in this very section of the forums. And it refers to the R 30 game limit, which is explained here (Help/Divisions/Ranked).
The main cool changes in the last year were probably the introduction of NAF-style (and theoretically NAF-ranked, though I don't think that's working yet) resurrection tournaments. See the News page for info about the NAF Team challenge, the one which is currently recruiting.
And more recently, the overhaul of L division, which is still a WIP, but already allows a lot more freedom with rulesets. More info about that here and here.

Humans were unforlorned by Strider84's Red Corsair in the GLT.
DonnyRainboe's Hacienda Heights Drifters took home the inaugural FUBAR Cup in a huge ARR! vs HLP showdown.
The scheduler still has it's flaws - however the ARR Brawl cycle is pretty healthy and good way to get games in with a box team on a recovery mission until you meet one of the real fouly ARR teams. There's been a dorf or two that's regretted crash the ARR Brawl party  |

Oh yea! I almost broke my FUMBBL pause just to log in and give a mega gratz to Red Corsair. You da man Strider84! That was awsome.
