Ultras Middenheim @UltrasMiddenheim

Ultras Middenheim have heard rumours that MCCH have been in talks with current dogpack coach Jevouse.

MCCH can do much better than coach Cdwat, but surely we're not so desperate as to be looking to our bitter rivals.

Bears Bugle Round 4 Snapshot

SCANDAL!!

Coach LictorZ found guilty of corruption (however inept) bribery (to people who have no influence on the game) and VIOLENCE.

But my oh my has the violence been good this season. 4 kills in one season will be the only sporting accolade the rookie coach will warrant.

Coach LictorZ will now be deported from Middenheim. His lies, treachery and ineptitude will soon be forgotten. By all but the few coaches whom mourn their losses at the vile tactics of a try-hard coach.

The Bears Dean has stated that they will conduct a much more thorough and intensive screening and interview process, and hope this kind of madness will never again burden the reputation of the Bears.

Sting, Yhetees in CBBA Bowl

The AIC is looking for back to back titles, while the Yhetees have the opportunity to stamp out a dynasty with 2 titles in 3 seasons. The Scorpions have returned to form in a big way this season, with Coach Semitence's 3 season plan coming to fruition. The Yhetees have looked dominant however, with an unprecedented roster full of all time superstars from Erengrad. It's going to be a cracker.

Griffins Send Off Stars With Victory
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily

Eckardt "Eagle Eye" Klopstock, Laurens Schor, Sebastian "The Stapler" Staebler, Detlef Tetzlaff - These are the names of the CBBA Champions the Griffins will farewell at the end of the season. In their final game, the Griffins defeated their rivals the Gunners with a dominating performance typical of this generation of players.

Klopstock and Shor are candidates for the professional leagues after stellar careers that will put them in the Griffins prestigious history books.

It was a down season for the Griffins, but Coach Tomay is excited about the next batch of talented youngsters who are coming through. His rotational policy should start to show the signs of sustained success from next season. "It's been a really useful season for these young guys to play with the superstars that won us a title. That experience rubs off."

CBBA: Outlaws Victory!
Gerhardt Bogenschütze - Chief Games and Sport Hunting Editor

Hochland University finally broke their 7 game losing streak with an inspiring victory against the Northern Border Confederates.

Head Coach Diedrick "m0gw41" Mohr said in the post game press conference: "The lads are over the moon, we gave 110% last season with nothing to show but this victory is sign that all the work on the training ground is paying off."

Asked if he thought there was a chance of any silverware this season: "We are not getting carried away, just taking it one game at a time. The lads can celebrate tonight but its back to the grindstone on Monday."

We at the Signalhorn congratulate the Outlaws and look forward to reporting on many more victories in the coming season.

Kislevite Fans Instigate Brawls In Capital

Fans of Erengrad University have descended on Altdorf to watch their team play the home town Scorpions for the CBBA Bowl tonight. A number of brawls broke out across the capital last night as the rowdy fans from the North clashed with the home town fans of the largest supporter base in the CBBA. Tonights game promises to be extra special as two teams face off with the best rosters we have seen in a final for some time. Who will come out on top?

The MCC Harlequins hereby announce that coach Cdwat will not have his contract renewed for Season 7.
We would like to thank him for his efforts over the past 3 seasons, and wish him well in his future endeavours.

A comprehensive recruiting process will now take place to find a suitable replacement.

Erengrad City official celebration of Erengrad CBBA Yhetees

Is for to welcome home to best team from restart of grand CBBA competition, finish positions is 1st getting bowl, 3rd getting ribbon, and 2nd getting nothing.

First game against Imperial schools, and Yhetees not suffer great injuries, Maysym's mother easily patch up Svitlana to take field for most of game, and no one else is hurt badly. Yhetees also not suffer cheating of slippery ball, ball often in hands of Yhetees players, most of game. Many different players, but mostly Yhetees. Yhetees not forget to take ball forward, ball often in range of quick scoring. Just forget to win game. At end, score is favouring Scorpions, and game is over and they are having bowl.

Wrestle bowl experiment is grand success, beat everything, except murderous cheating Averheim. Except imperial team from Altdorf when matters. Except Middenland, Guisonne, Marionburg get draws.

Erengrad City withdraws funding from team, important things to do with money, prepare for coming wars. Most successful team is not representative of perfection of Erengrad City. Also, is parade happening, much celebration, be present for patriotic tribute from city or face serious consequences.

Is greatest team, many good players, just not win bowl. Celebrate, is joyous occasion.

Erengrad University public statement on official celebration of Yhetees

Student body is to officially attend and celebrate Yhetees, to avoid further losses to University.

Failure to celebrate by any student would be grave error. We watch everybody. End statement.

MIDDENHEIM GAZETTE WELCOMES TRIUMPHANT WOLVES HOME

After the Stabling of the Stallions meant that the Wolves got into the Red Ribbon Championship by default, the Wolves sought to prove that they weren't there merely on a technicality and took the battle to the Bulls. With the Bulls electing to receive in the rain, it proved a poor choice as they slipped and tripped all over the field, giving the Wolves a chance to go ahead on the defense. Sadly the foul weather was too much for veteran retriever Theophilus and he let the ball slip out of his grasp close to the Bulls' endzone.

True to their metier, the Wolves scored quickly and then prevented the Bulls from equalizing, with special mention going to the Bulls' Ogre Thorgaud Laut, who perhaps was feeling his last college game a little too keenly, failing several crucial blitzes and dodges and often standing on the pitch looking lost. Theophilus again played a key part in affairs by using his superior speed and agility to get to the opposition's ball handlers and effect turnovers.

The visiting Middenheim fans erupted into deafening howls and a pitch invasion ensued immediately after the final whistle was blown, with Rüdelführer Jevouse being borne down into the dressing room on a flood of fans. Immediately afterwards he confirmed that he would be staying on for another season to manage the Wolfpack as his seasonal goals had been achieved with the Red Ribbon returning to its rightful place. The team loses some rather experienced and agile players after this season as they are in their final year but we at the Gazette are confident that with Jevouse at the helm the team can go even further yet.

The Eagles have emerged from this season battered, but unbroken. The great generation of players that started their schooling in Season 4 are graduating, and many of their teams are now rife with rookies, players who barely know how to handle a ball. It's time for the Eagles to soar to ever greater heights.

CBBA AWARDS NIGHT SEASON 6
The Awards Ceremony is the biggest night of the year for everyone involved in the CBBA. The Ceremony starts with the announcement of the All Star Team. Then the CBBA Player Awards are given out to the individuals who have earned them throughout the season. Finally, the event culminates in the crowning of the Bowl Champions.

It gives the opportunity for the players to celebrate after a hard season. More importantly, it gives the fans of the teams a chance to compare their stars with the legends of the past and hope that their favourites get the acknowledgement they feel they deserve.

The CBBA ALL STAR TEAM SEASON 6

Linemen

Theophilus Jägerstätter – Middenland Wolfpack & Filipo Orsini – Tilea Diavoli

Theo once again showed why he is heavily scouted by the pro leagues. His raw athleticism has always been evident, however, this season Theo really delivered for the Wolfpack, leading them to the bowl.

Orsini will go down in history books as one of the greatest linemen to ever play in the CBBA. His contributions to the program in Tilea are unlikely to be matched – without Filipo in the team no one would even know who they are yet. Orsini racked up the rushing yards again this season and had his hand in everything.

Blitzer

Richolf Pfistermann – Wolfenburg Bulls

The CBBA has never seen a rookie burst on the scene with such violence. Pfistermann showed the older players in the league how its done this season, ripping multiple oponents from limb to limb. His name has sent shockwaves throughout the league and there are a number of teams hoping to avoid the Bulls next season just so they don’t have to face Richolf.

Thrower
Eckardt “Eagle Eye” Klopstock – RAU Griffins

Klopstock is the most reliable thrower in the league. Despite a down season in comparison with the last, Klopstock was still exemplary when on the field. The injury sustained at the hands of Titus Denano may impact his professional suitability but there hasn’t been many better college careers in the CBBA’s history.

Catcher

Oskar Grunfeld – Talebheim Panthers

Some would say Grunfeld is a vanilla choice for the catcher position given his solid – yet unspectacular career. However, Grunfeld is the man at running into the backfield and taking those tough catches. He has built a solid resume without a reliable thrower targeting him as often as he deserves. His inclusion in the All Star Team with solid players surrounding him would show just how good he can be.

Wildcards

Svitlana Kovalenko – Yhetees & Titus Denano - Scorpions

Koval gets all the limelight, but those that watch the Yhetees closely know that Kovalenko is the real star of the team. Simply put, he’s a beast. He is the undisputed leader of the team, is almost impossible to take down and is more than happy to get dirty on defence. There isn’t a more important player for their team in the entire CBBA.

Denano is the guy you want to be on your team in the big games. He has an uncanny ability to show up for the big moments, leading his team in blocks and damage on the run to the Bowl victory. Titus has been consistently vicious throughout his college career and promises to be a top talent in the pro leagues as well.

CBBA PLAYER AWARDS SEASON 6
The greatest individual accolades a player can earn in his amateur career.

The clock hits Zero - Time to graduate

Well what can I say about these three years of study and blood bowl, well for me personally it was just... disappointing. Sure there were the good times and I guess I wouldn't change much other than the losing and the C- average but still coming so close to be scouted and having put so much work into it just seems wasteful. I'm glad Oskar finally got our school some recognition by being picked for the All Star Team, but I think it's been the only official citing.

To be honest I'm going to try one last time to get into the Pro leagues before I take a post graduate job with my family. Otherwise it's going to be a boring tough slog putting up that many signs, those posts pole are heavy.

I hope if the coach continues with the Panthers he can start afresh next season with a whole new team. Though I guess he'll keep Ragen on board as he was the only student on the team in the year below.

Well this is me Barnabus Branntweinbrenner signing off for the last time (as this was my on campus account) and good luck to those of you who will fill the new Talabheim Panthers next year.

CBBA: Outlaws Mid-table Madness!
Gerhardt Bogenschütze - Chief Games and Sport Hunting Editor

Hochland University Outlaws showed that their first ever victory was not a fluke by chalking up another win in their last game of the season to reach the lofty heights of 4th in the final standings of the CBBA Food Bowl vs North conference. The University campus broke out in rapturous celebrations when news hit that the Outlaws doubled their win tally.

Head Coach Diedrick "m0gw41" Mohr said in the post game press conference: "The lads are chuffed, it was a tough game but in the end the boys rallied and we got our just desserts."

Asked what he thought his prospects were for next season: "The lads are brimming with confidence, with most of our rivals losing many players to graduation we'll have one of the most experienced squads in the CBBA. But we are not getting ahead of ourselves, we'll just train hard and take it one game at a time."

There is genuine excitement across the whole region about what next season will bring and we at the Signalhorn will be there to bring you all the action.
