Gunners Go Boom!

Gunners make there way to the top of the touring leg but at what cost???.

Turn 16 vs the cocks. Everything is wrapped up for the win, something goes horribly wrong. It seems some dirty little fling had been tinkering around with McCannons chemicals.

Next thing you know, as he's lighting the wick, his whole arm is on fire followed by a loud explosion and body bits all over the show!. Giggling and chewing sounds can be heard. A stout little fellow with half a chicken stuffed in his gob is seen exiting the scene. REF!

The crowd goes wild and people are far more excited about body bits raining down from above than Gunners running in TDs

Just a few plays prior another fling who snuck a proclaimed 'kitchen utensil' on the field had hit Connors Smiths main artery with a viscious dropkick cleaver kick!, Blood was gushing everywhere but the medics were able to patch him up. A few weeks rest and he'll be back.

Gunners go through on top for this leg. R I P CJ McCannon you will be missed.

Mootland wtf out gunnersfanclub have been seen buying up all the yummy snacks in town. It seems you may be left to graze on nothing but brown rice and cheap corn chips

Three losses in a row. You'd think the Diavoli would be back to the bad old days when everyone was calling for Remo's head. But no, the packed Miragliano stadium loves us, fans travel from all over Tilea to see us play, even the Uni admin are fully supportive of our coaching staff.

Pity we're about to be turfed out of the CBBA due to the sponsorship row.

Cocks finish touring leg with a bang...

... and a touchdown.

Mootland Fighting Cockerel fans were treated to their game of the season in the final leg of the touring round.

A 1-4 defeat to a strong Gunners outfit.

The crowd erupted when 'Cleaver' Cleats expertly severed the carotid artery of gunner Connor Smith, late in the second half, covering half the pitch in blood. And then, just as the crowd died down and the Gunners apothecary was patching up Connor, a loud explosion issued from the pitch.

Pieces or young Gunnery student C J McCannon flew everywhere as his bomb malfunctioned.

There are rumours that a number of Eicheschatten University Item Acquisition Students were seen around the gunners dressing room at half time, but the management of the Cockerels have denied any knowledge that that department even exists.

Despite the result, Cock's fans were ecstatic with the entertainment, and the food on offer, particularly the fan who was seen leaving with C J McCannon's head.

Two seasons ago I snuck onto the field and killed a mighty fling, Peter "Pepper" Polenski. Lucky tonight's encounter with the Cocks was in Tilea, I doubt I'd have survived a return to Mootland. This time another mighty blitzer, Jaswick Hoggs-Hill, felt my boot. Big Beni strikes again!, tee hee. Scored me a smile from the lovely Fina that did Smile

Didn't the Verezzo field look glorious today?

Erengrad CBBA Yhetees Official Team Anncouncement
Now that University no longer cares to maintain duty of making statement for Yhetees, players organise own statement duty roster. Message from University administration is not to being cared about Yhetees, so is good.

Team is much walking done, through many places, touring to strange Nuln with such mad people making little explosions just for fun times. Also was walk to Mootland and run on field with little people, is very nice they give us many scoring practice. Next is long walk to Middenheim for to play elf people who have much good dodges and take ball from Yhetees all day.

Is very tiring for Yhetees. But some things are learned about playing game from playing game, so is good. Now is home games approaching, and more things to be learning. Go team! As is said by team cheerleaders. Very nice when playing to be cheered. Hopefully some fans left at home.

Coach says is more laps of city first, because too good at walking after so much walking. Nadiya says people used to cheer Yhetees on laps, but now only say to get out of way. Is nice to not be run down though, so is good. End of Statement. Thank you.

Altdorf Bowl A Surety For Griffins
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily

The Griffins are preparing to get their hands back on the Altdorf Bowl after last seasons disappointing loss. With the Scorpions in a rebuilding phase and the Griffins once again on top of the league, it figures to be a foregone conclusion that the trophy will go back to the cabinet in RAU.

The game is scheduled for Sunday 7pm.

Nordrak College Newsletter - Issue #7 - TRAITOR!!!

The Manticores exit the Yheti pitch with a 2-1 win under their belts. But there seems to be a cloud of drama surrounded around Ulrich "Caesar" Dahn. Here's what we know:

-"Caesar" Felt too much pressure in having to play against a rival next game.
-In an attempt to avoid playing, Caesar faked a fractured arm.
-Coach Mushoomy saw this and had a stern talk with Caesar, calling him a "TRAITOR!!!"
-Caesar hasn't been seen since.

Is it certain that Caesar is off the team? The Manticores certainly have the budget to buy a player in time for their fifth win in a row against the stupid Wolfenburg Bulls.

Things are really grim in the Diavoli camp. We have lost our captain, the loved and respected Matteo Fugazi. Mila is a mess, screaming at Drago to save him. But it was clear from the damage that the rock did that there was nothing he could do, so he didn't even try.

Already there are nasty rumours afoot that the rock was not thrown by an Averheim fan, but instead by a rejected suitor of Mila's. I'm not even going to go there. For now is the time for mourning. Rest in Peace Arp Arp

Coach Semitence silences critics - Scorpions in pain, whilst Harlequins soar.

After pay disputes at the end of last season ended with Coach Semitence resigning as Head Coach at Reikland, the Middenheim faithful have snagged a proven cup winning coach.

Sources indicate that Semitence was "not impressed" after delivering on his 3-year strategy and has taken a pay cut to "take his talents" to a team where they would be more fully appreciated.

So far so good, as the Harlequins have opened to a 2/0/1 start to season 7.

Meanwhile RSU have only a single win to their name, leaving the organisation with egg on their face after reportedly offering a larger package to Coach Patdragon that what was on the table to the prior incumbent. Surely this was a a last minute attempt to bring a substitute coach in to the fold? If not, the results wait to be seen.

Cocks Win!

Coach Wozzaa was left speechless as the Mootland Fighting Cockerels win a game. You are indeed reading this right... The Cocks have won a game.

Gadregar Crumbleweed-Winkins had certainly had his weetbix that morning, clocking in an impressive 3 casualties.

Famous coach Dustbunny was in the stands, he told the Hanchen Herald:

'that was aweomse
i wanna play that league and be the cockerels!'

Coach Faulcon said:
'I missed playing (against) the cockerels this season'

and Coach of the Stallions, the Cocks next opponents, Coach Luo said:
'Wow'

Stallions are charging forward to yet another Bowl appearance. Guess it really IS coaching talent and not reliance on incredibly talented individuals?

AVERHEIM UNIVERSITY GAZETTE
Completely Biased Reporting since Imperial Court Appeal, 17 Vorhexen 2516

Locked Out Stallions Lock it Up

In yet another example of the incredible strides made in the Averheim U sporting programme since the appointment of Coach Luo, the Stallions have once again won 5 games on the trot. With only the Mootland midgets left to play, they look set to head to the CBBA bowl ONCE AGAIN.

This despite further heavy-handed bias from the CBBA management, as they continue to keep one of their most successful teams out of the premier conference, instead continuing to favour teams with more history than talent.

How long will this go on? How many games does one team need to win before being given their rightful place in the competition??

Cocky Cockerels Crush Chumps

In an absolutely stunning incident, the Mootland Cockerels have managed to win a game. Shocked fans looked on as the plucky flings handily dismantled their far superior opposition, posting a flabbergasting 3-1 scoreline. Incredulous Great Eagles refused to take to the pitch in the second half, leaving the miniature manlings to frolic on the pitch.

Incredibly, this now means that the Cockerels are the biggest threat to a perfect season for the Stallions. Is this really the standard the CBBA wants to set going forward..?

Altdorf Bowl Returns To RAU
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily

Despite the best attempts of the Scorpions, the Griffins have once again taken the Altdorf Bowl in convincing fashion. The Scorpions are being accused of utilising illegal tactics in order to hold onto the coveted trophy. At one point a Griffins Blitzer Victor Shutzer was heading for the endzone when the pitch fell out underneath him. Griffins players also complained of their shoes being tampered with prior to the 2nd drive of the game.

The courageous Griffins overcame these dirty ploys, demonstrating another graceful display of offensive football in their 3-1 victory. Their attention now turns to the biggest game of the season against a Gunners outfit in peak form with a Bowl position at stake for the winner.

Bowl Race Clarity

The race for a Bowl game has become more clear as we dive into the Inter Conference Leg of the draw.

The Stallions have guaranteed themselves a place in the Bowl with a 12 point lead over the woeful South.

The Manticores have just about earned their spot from the GNR with the Bulls requiring them to drop both games and to get two victories themselves - an unlikely scenario.

Meanwhile, the AIC features two undefeated teams who appear to be the best performers in the league. The Griffins and Gunners are the best teams in the league but will battle for the Bowl spot in the AIC.

The GNR is the only uncertain division with all 4 teams in contention, but likely only for the Red Ribbon Bowl. A situation like this just screams like it is made for the Wolfpack.
