Well, the game is clearly way too stacked against elves, so MonkeyMan576 (btw: what happened to your 575 predecessors?) is on to something... As the skill gets worse with lower AG, it should consequently get better with higher AG... So it should be:
AG3: Skill lost
AG4: Karate - cancels Mighty Blow and Piling On
AG5: Karate Master - the skill functions as if the player had Mighty Blow and piling On himself
AG6: Chuck Norris - in addition to MB and PO, the skill functions as if the player had Claw, Juggernaut, and Jump Up as well |

PS: Normal skill phrasing for this skill.
Karate: Agility.
When knocked down by an opponent who has the Mighty Blow or Piling On skills, make an unmodified AG roll, if successful they may not use either skill against you.
Stuff like Leap doesn't cancel for AG 3, neither should this. Should probably be called Judo anyway, or Roll With Blow. Be not a bad skill for stunties and catchers and stuff, wouldn't see much use for elves when they can blodgestep-fend so easily. |
