Should strong-arm allow you a longer range pass on a dump-off as it reduces the short pass to a quick pass?

A similar idea was for throw team mate. Undortunately they dont stack this way.

Better off with accurate that just gives you +1, or nerves of steel since you're always in at least one TZ when using it

no, it no longer reduces short pass to quick pass, it just adds +1 to short pass.

In lrb4 it reduced the throwing band by 1 now it is even worse because it is just +1 except does not work on quick pass.

It actually works exactly the same as it did in LRB4.

In LRB4 it was reducing passing range but had exceptions for any potential variant where that really would have mattered.

The consequential thing was just to reword it the way they did in LRB5.

There could be a new skill that increases TTM range. Kick would counter most TTM 1turn chances anyway.

strong arm should do this imo, if returned to its lrb4 wording.

it would still come with a bigger gamble so would often be better off not using the extra range, as it would be 2+ on short then 3+ on long pass.

An easy change would be for Strong Arm to redefine the measurement of range. Instead of requiring the target square to be wholly within the range on the ruler, it can be only partially within the range. This would effectively extend each range category by up to a square.
