Hi people,
today, i used my brand almost new safe-throw, laughing alone for being so evil because it seemed to me that if i try a 6+ pass and fail, then i keep the ball, but didn't expect a turnover... Thought i could continue to play like nothing happened !!!
So, was it something in my eye, a miss-click, or did it really happen & safe throw doesn't avoid the turnover when you miss the pass ?

it will allow you to hold onto the ball if you fumble it. If you miss the pass you miss the pass. |

Not for natural 1s, they still cause a turnover. So your 6+ pass is 2+ from a fumble turnover point of view (just like HMP) |

Safe throw is to avoid interception, make an unmodifired agility roll to avoid.
Also it cancels a fumble EXCEPT when its a natural 1, anything fails on a natural 1 and anything succeeds on a natural 6. |

I think what he's asking is "I suffered a turnover missing a throw with safe throw. It wasn't a 1, the thrower still had the ball, but it was a turnover nonetheless. Is this how the skill works?"
I don't know the answer tho. |

Is it possible that the thrower fumbled the ball and then caught it again after the bounce?

It's from turn 2, 2nd half of this game. The WE Thrower rolled a 4 on a 5+ long pass in the sun, rerolled to a 3 and correctly held on to the ball. Then the bug caused a turnover. |

Sorry Lucci, that did indeed seem like a bug when it happened. At least I rolled many, many, many skulls. And made many, many, many noobish mistakes. All well that ends well?

Anyone know how safe throw works with bombs in this regard? i.e. does a non-1 fumble roll result in the thing blowing itself up? If so, should it? |
