Hi all

The blitzers are underdeveloped, but things are changing thanks to the new MVP system: a first blitzer got a skill roll.

Should I go for +1ma, +1av, or a regular development skill (dodge almost certainly)?

Movement

Take tackle afterwards and try to make him your sweeper

SS and DT afterwards, and MB on doubles

Absolutely take the MA.

But take Dodge next. Dodge keeps elves elfing, and keeps them alive.

People do tend to underrate speed. On such a young team, it might well be tempting to ignore the +MA and take Block, Dodge or Wrestle to make the team more able to win now, but in 10-15 games, you might well be feeling better about a fast Lineman.

I think I'd take the MA and keep the guy in and around the MVP conversation (with a couple of positionals ready to skill). The sooner he is faster with a second skill, the sooner he's starting to realise his potential.

I think it's funny that armour is so constantly ignored. But yeah, don't take it in this case

+MA all the way and make him the scorer - compared to other elves the DE lack a bit of speed, this helps them in that respect.

Armor increases are only ever viable on such a small pool of players though, especially with claws out there entirely negating it. I also find that my +AV players tend to be my MNG players a lot as well.

Gave +AV to a Norse lineman, he got badly hurt in every game after, with a few MNGs as well before death settled in.

Gave +AV to a Rotter on a Nurgle team, he's usually the first one hurt when I play his team.

Gave +AV to a zombie on a Necro team. First game out, took an MNG from a non-MB hit.

Gave +AV to a jump-up ClawPOMB chaos dwarf, still healthy, but no one wants to play his team.

And, in most cases, +MA is a much better choice

IMO you take +AV on any player with AV9...move him to AV10, best odds in the game.

Maybe take it on a AV8 player who just plays the LOS.

Otherwise, take +MA.

Not having MA8 on any player is Darkies' biggest weakness compared to the other Elf races. Remedy for that? Yes please. No brainer.

yeah, +av was good on a pomber, but now that PO is gone its's useless...
