I was watching a stream earlier of someone playing an Amazon team composed entirely of Linewomen(not on fumbbl). When you can take 4 Blitzers from the start with Blodge, why take all Linewomen that just have dodge? I'm a noob to all this so there's obviously a good reason. Could someone enlighten me please? I really want to try my hand with Amazons and that has confused me a little.

Linewoman is 50k, 70k with block. Blitzer is 90k.
You don't get S access though.

Because aside from S access the Blitzer could be considered overpriced compared to a linewoman who will obtain blodge/wrodge at 70TV as opposed to the Blitzer's 90 TV.

However since a linewoman requires doubles for S skills, it's somewhat less effective to make an entirely linewoman team - what is usually done is that some of the originally rostered blitzers are fired as the linewomen gain block (or wrestle) to maintain a low TV, and one Blitzer is retained to be the killer.

This allows you to have a relatively large team, with many blodge/wrodge for a low TV, see for example: this infamous team.

6 stats and 1 double. Block/wrestle are normal picks - general access for Zons.
