On a 5+5 I'd probably go dodge, your carrier should skill quickly to get blodge in another couple of games. However mutations are an option on a double extra arms or 2 heads both would help with a carrier role and horns are surprisingly good on a carrier too but I think early in the teams development dodge would be the safer choice.
