I have a Ag4 skink that has just skilled up, gaining possible +ag again.

Is having Ag5 worth it, as with Ag4 & stunty he dodges most places on 2+ anyway. Admittably with Ag5 he can get into the tightest crevices now and acquire the ball with some flair!

But is it worth the bloat, it does seem abit of a no brainer. But would appreciate other views

Sadly no, as Ag roll is 5 & 6

So its take the agility or a normal skink skill

I would fire Le Frog and take the +AG.
AG 5 is a pseudo-Thrower even with Stunty pass malus, and if developed as one turner he can catch the ball quite easily even if standing in 1-2 tackle zones.

Also next skill could be leap making him even more mobile to get to interesting places.

I would say ag5 is fun but bloat.

It only makes these things better:
- passing (stunty gives -1 to pass so ag4 pass is +3.. but with ag5 you can quickpass with +2)
- picking up next to tz or in rain
- catching in tz or in rain
- intercepting

(edit: lets add dodging from next to one PT still being +2 and dodging from next to DT is still +3 instead of +4)

Aaaaaand thats about it. Ag5 would be even more worth if wiz was still there since how ofter do you actually sack as lizzies? You don't even have break tackle saurie with tackle yet..

I'd pick sidestep now. If you pick ag5 i'd still pick sidestep on next normal roll.

(Also i wouldn't pick +ma for saurus.. at least not this early on.. sure, more ma is nice but i don't think it is worth the tv and not worth on postponing important skills like guard, mb, tackle, break tackle, frenzy, standfirm and/or grab.. dodge and +st are only doubles and stats i would take to postpone main-skill process.. just imo)

I don't think this is correct, as the ag stat just changes the basic roll required for success whereas stunty modifies the dice. So a 2 is always a fumble for a stunty player in the absence of other factors that modify the dice positively, such as accurate or the +1 for a quick pass.

Edit: misread kummo's post so probably just ignore all of the above!

well the alternatives are catch, side step, diving catch, diving tackle, jump up, leap and sneaky git.

I'm assuming this is your main ball carrier so diving tackle and sneaky git are out. Catch and diving catch have some use but 5agility is good in that department too. Leap is good, but way better with 5ag.

That leaves jump up and side step. Do you see either of those more useful than 5ag/leap?

If yes, go with them.

If no, go with 5 agility.

leap and sidestep next if you get him to legend with normal rolls

leap to steal balls, then die
sidestep to help with 1turn - u dont have grab or frenzy
