Hmm, thanks for that information  Really helpful. So Blitzers and maybe a Witch Elf to start if i'm feeling brave. So i'm going to start 4 blitzers, what will be my focus on buying after the first few games, 3rd reroll, apothacary, a runner or two? |

now that I think about it a little more, wood elves are the best for beginners. Point, click, score. Nobody can focus on the ball better, offense or defense. |

Woof Elves do seem to have a lot of votes but i have not seen many arguments for them in the comments. So i am curious. Is it because Wardancers are just that good? It seems a lot of WE teams ignore the tree all together so it's not that.
I mean the Treeman does seem like such an odd fit for a WE team anyway so no real surprise he's ignored. He doesn't seem to actually do anything for them. |

I voted dark elves because you can go with 4 blitzers and rest linemen then you have a very capable team which is all av8. Add rr, apoth, witch elf later. No other players required. I'd even say don't get the second witch
Wood elves, as a elf rookie you are very likely to just get your team destroyed
Dark elves are great defensively but are slow, they don't find scoring as easy.
So for original query, go DE first when learning elfball but then? Consider high elves. The catchers are amazing |

Oh yea, this applies to all teams but definitely elves- take all the stats you can, apart from +AV
If you get ag5, add Leap |

Hmm, i did the 4 blitzers all linemen thing and had 10k left over. Should i have got a runner instead of one lineman as that would have made the team an even 1000k :/ I'm confused. Since runners are only 10k more than Linemen. |

Or just try all the 4 elven teams and find out the one you prefer.

Either you buy a Runner to get Leader asap or don't buy him and save those 10k to buy the Apothecary asap. |
