HELP - creating teams using a rules set

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a small swiss tournament for some friends using an upcoming TT rules pack. I've created the rules set (784) but now I can't quite work out how to create teams using the rules set.

I've tried searching forums and looked in the help files but my search-fu is weak.

If anyone can help or point me in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated.

Create a group, set its type as League and write the ruleset ID into the entry field.

I have done this but how can I create a team using the TV and skill pack?

The group needs to be set to type "league" NOt "meta group".

Once you have done this you should see if a field where you can enter the ruleset id. 784.

If you already did this, for some reason it did not save. So, do it again.

Then you should see a "create team" link on the group page.

Hi Koadah,

I did set to league and the ID was set to 784. I may be missing something obvious but I can't see create team on the group page.

Same deal. After you have done it. Save it, then check it again.

Yep.

Make sure they create the teams from the group page and not from their coach's home page.
