But how much easier it is to implement a rule where you say 'don't abuse playing the same opponent again and again':
it catches more cases of abuse;
avoids people complying with the letter of the law but not the spirit;
avoids stopping people playing the same opponent when it wouldn't be an abuse;
reduces workload for programmers; and
it promotes a culture of responsibility rather than compliance. |
